Why don't you take the time to learn about avian behaviour before you choose to get a parrot. This parrot us exhibiting hormonal behaviour and rather than discouraging this behaviour you leave an item that the bird views as a nest exacerbating nesting instincts. You are frustrating the bird not helping it and if you get badly bitten you only have yourself to blame

Since Septemper I quit HIIT because of bulk. I just sticked to running an walking and workouts for the core. but I think I lost endurance and my legs did not change that much. I guess I have to accept that my legs are not as skinny as shailene woodleys or so. I miss to be out of breath. What do you think about this idea: mon running about 5-8 km tue core-workout or resting wed running 10+ km thu doing some hiit (plyometric exercices but not that many squats or lunges) fri coreworkout sa running focussing on intervals to get faster sun cardio such as swimming, skating, skiing, cycling..

My girl(11) is ridiculously affectionate and not at all aggressive towards me which has surprised me as I rescued her as a 'biting', 'aggressive male two months ago at the onset of breeding season. The general info on Amazons out there, is flawed in my opinion. I have so often read about their aggression, some sources specify that the males are more aggressive during reeding season, others say the females. My rescue girl, was unsocialised, had been locked in a cage for 6 years, never flown and never trained. I have found her to be sensitive, telepathic almost, and very kind towards me. She is very loving now, responds to the words I say, and learns super quickly. I am convinced that If you give an Amazon space and time to make all the moves towards intimacy, they will be gentle and sweet. They do take exception to their personal space being intruded on when having time out, as I do. That does not warrant a reputation of being 'aggressive." IMy girl has not bitten me yet. Totally in love with them. :-)
