I used a water based polyurethane and did two coats. I wouldn’t recommend using an oil based polyurethane because the finish tends to have friction even after it cures. Have you put a clear coat on the blocks and if so what kind?

@@TheDadCave I put a modge podge acrylic spray, but I bought another one that is a clear topcoat

@sydneymcdonald-yk4lw I have seen these before but never used them. The more I used the set I made, the smoother the blocks became. The blocks may be sticking initially but it is possible after continued use the modge podge clear coat you’re using will smooth out and not be sticking as much. Absolutely it would. Hot glue works with plastic and metal. I only used metal because I had an abundance of them.

The ResinCrete in this video isn’t clear at any point. It will remain white. JDiction does have a line of clear UV resin products if you are looking for something to be clear.

A link to the scale I used in the video is in the video description and it worked perfect for me. You don't have to use a food scale, you could use the indicators on the measuring cups to create the 10:3 weight ratio for the mix. For me being the visual person that I am, I opted for the scale. Aside from the convenience factor, it also takes out any guess work. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other feedback or questions.
