    I came back to your channel to find this exact video. Been suffering from this for the 7 months. Very scared. Everyday is just a mindless crawl through heavy fog with no sense of direction. someone told me the other day that looking in your eyes feels like there is nothing inside. it wasn't always like this. I really want to get out of this. I have medical school board exams that I'm not studying for because of this, but am telling my family that i am studying. it wasn't always like this, I thought it'd go away with time but clearly not. i remember when I was part of the "suck it up and snap out of it" camp when it came to mental health stuff, guess this is some sort of twisted karma i get haha. i really won't wish it on my enemy. Pray for me. Hopefully it gets better soon. Thanks for the video Sir. We appreciate your efforts Bruce.

      Wow thanks for watching and for being willing to share with us some clearly deep issues. For what it's worth it takes a lot of guts to express yourself so openly the way that you did. I actually broke this song down due to someone struggling with addiction who said could I do this song, as they felt that the lyrics were very relatable to them. Glad that you were able to get something out of the breakdown. Just want to add, and not trying to just say words, but do not give up and try and find someone in the therapy world that understands this mental health issue and can get you moving in the right direction. If you don't mind, please keep us posted on how things go.

    you should check out the noise rock outfit called Daughters. Their latest album "You Wont Get What You Want" would be really cool when dissected in the same style as other videos like this. For what song you should analyze, I think Daughter, Less Sex, or Ocean Song are good songs to lyrically break down. Much love.

What is also helpful is that you know me and my style from watching me in action, so you don't have to spend time trying to find someone relatable. Any further questions, please send us an email. Ugh. I love this breakdown. I've been on my own mental health journey, and this album has been incredibly impactful. I've recently stumbled onto the ideas presented by Jung, and hearing the term collective conscious in this song really pricked my ears up. I *had* to come looking for an analysis from somebody with an understanding of psychology. It's an incredible song, and this video has very much helped me gain a greater understanding of the significance of what Kendrick is saying! I'm hoping to make an impact, too. I appreciate the input, and your work to help society heal. Keep doing you :))

    • @sunridgementalhealth
      @sunridgementalhealth 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for your interest in receiving telehealth services from myself. We appreciate that you saw the value in what we provide and are interested in becoming a potential client. I would like to introduce you to the idea of joining our weekly group sessions. The cost is S75 dollars a month and you would be able to participate in the group session once a week for an hour. If in that week no one has joined, then it would just be yourself and the hour would belong to you and whatever issue that would be important to you. Also, if you feel that you would like more time with me then we would charge you extra to do so, but it would not be extravagant. We are taking this approach because we want to make our services affordable for everyone and the cost would be $125 an hour. Let us know if this would be acceptable to you and if so, we would be delighted to have you join us. As I have stated in multiple music breakdowns, I am the best out there and I am confident that I would be able to point you in the right direction. You can reach me if you have any further questions at sunridgenevada@gmail.com.

      Wow thanks for watching and for sharing all of your comments. It takes a lot of guts to do what you did by willing to be so open. I am glad that the breakdown was able to give you some perspective over what you have been through and that you are able to get a better picture over what had happened to you as a child. Just don't feel that it's over as half the battle is recognizing that there is even a problem to begin with. Find a therapist that you can relate too and realize that you can break the cycle. All the best and hang in there. You can also follow us on X/Spaces where we break down mental health topics.

    About to watch every MMTBS breakdown u did. I doubt u see this because i’m late but u r a legend. I’ve been going through a deep time in my life and this album has been therapy for me and i don’t even think i have reached past surface level with it yet. I’m so excited to watch these breakdowns.

      Thanks for watching and for all of the great things that you said., we take it as a huge compliment. Were very happy that you got so much out of watching our breakdowns as it just verifies our original thought that music is a great way to be able to relate to others. I enjoy breaking down Kendricks's music as he is not just singing a song, but he is also relating a message as well. Let us know what you think about the other songs on the album. You can also catch us on X/Spaces where we break down mental health topics and you can get an idea on where the channel is going. Thank you again for sharing and good luck with moving forward.

However, were back now and we are moving forward with this one. It’s also about the idiots taking about, “why Kendrick won’t drop a album every 5 mins” This entire album is Kendrick’s therapy saying he’s going thru REAL LIFE with his wife and family and he CHOOSE HIMSELF over the public’s attention and pleasure. People forget that athletes, actors, and artists are actually people and they go thru trials and tribulations like everyone else.

      Wow thanks for watching and for those great comments and observations that you made. You are spot on, and I agree with you,100% percent with your insights. I felt that the album was very much him using a therapeutic perspective and talking about a lot of things that he has dealt with in his life. People today often forgot that the celebrities they worship once they hit the spotlight no longer have a break due to social media and have to be available and on 24/7. It could only be exhausting and never ending. You can also follow us on X/Spaces where we break down mental health topics and you can get an ideal on where the channel is going.

    To bump across this video a year ago felt jarring after searching for the song and being led here through the album. To bump into this video again months ago when I finally made the decision after 26 years to go to therapy for being sexually abused through my childhood by someone in the family was jolting. To once again see this after that Beef with kendrick/drake and Drake incorrectly calling what happened on this song just flat out pissed me off. Ive never wanted to knock someones teeth loose in a long time. I apologize, I'm still a bit stagnant on my journey through therapy. Much love to you and the work you do for others

      Let me just start of by saying that it takes a lot of guts to say what you said. And we truly appreciate the comments that you made about the breakdown and the help that you got from it. Also, while I may have helped push you in the right direction you were the one that did all of the heavy lifting to make the decision to go and get some help and some relief with the load that you have been carrying all these years. So, you got angry and upset, big deal, its normal to feel the way that you do or did at the time. When you are sexually abused, it is like a gut punch that is given to you over and over again. Just keep on walking forward one step at a time and realize you deserve to be happy. Hang in there and if you don't mind, keep us posted.

      @@chaset8889 Thanks for responding and giving us your suggestion. I checked him out and he would be perfect for us. The only issue is that we have gotten a ton of requests to cover other artists, however, what we will do is put him on our list of music to cover later. Music is so amazing in that every time I think I know what is out there, I realize that I don't have a clue, so we appreciate fans like yourself who constantly share with us, thanks again.
