VIVALDI | WINTER - Cinematic Studio Solo Strings Mockup
It's winter. So I decided to create my mockup of Vivaldi's Winter / Allegro non molto.
I only used Cinematic Studio Solo Strings, no EQ and no additional reverb was applied. Only the reverb of the room, where CSSS was recorded, can be heard.
Since CSSS unfortunately doesn't have a double bass (which can be a real pain), I tried to play the lower registers with a second cello.
[I noticed it can get pretty loud, depending on the headphones or sound system you use. Be aware.😉]
If you habe suggestions on improvement, let me know!

ETERNAL FATHER, STRONG TO SAVE - String Quartet | Mockup

My version of William Whiting's “Eternal Father, Strong to Save”. I arranged it as a kind of string quartet or quintet using Embertone's Friedlander Violin and Cinematic Studio Solo Strings. Since CSSS has no bass, I used a second cello to play the lowest registers. [The image was created with AI and somehow it was impossible to display the instruments in the correct size. But hey, nobody is pe...

ACROSS THE STARS - Orchestral Cover | with Iconica Sketch
มุมมอง 690หลายเดือนก่อน
So I challenged myself and created my version of John Williams Across the Stars using only the “free” Iconica Sketch to see how well a complete piece could be realized with this library (I also used the free Novel Piano with the Scoring Piano Patch). All in all, it's a very good library considering it comes free with every version of Cubase. Sure, there were some problems, especially when it ca...

Silent Hill - Theme | Orchestra & Band Cover

Cover of the Silent Hill theme song, released in 1999. Composed by Akira Yamaoka, this song has haunted me for almost 25 years now. I produced my own version and tried to capture the resonant melancholy of the original. For the video I used various images from Konami, Bloober Team and fan art - because a black video is simply boring :-) Full disclosure: I used various MIDI templates as referenc...
