Sooo...mine was doing this and i did as gou said, but now the plastic bit keeps going into the straw when i close it...

i did this to clean it and put it back on but now there is air coming in and i can’t pull water up.

OMG I WAS SCARED THAT IT BROKE MY BOTTLE BUT U JUST SAVED MY BRAND NEW WATER BOTTLE. THANK YOU😭

this saved my life oml It came like that outta the box and I thought I was stupid and not drinking it right because it kept making a screetching sound and no water was coming out and after I flipped open my straw I saw the air thing was jammed and now it’s perfectly fine for me I needed to pull the hole thing out so I used a roasting marshmallow kebab skewer and pushed it out from the other end and then fixed it now it’s fine :)
