American at one point tried to negotiate with the Turks to stop them capturing their ships and enslaving the crews. As was customary at the time they sent gifts to the Sultan, what did they send? a ship load of African slaves. American ended the enslavement of Europeans in North Africa before they ended slavery in America.

If you miss how they are interconnected you are out. Read, write and contribute. Only you can limit yourself don't blame nobody, some country is not going to change because of you. Just learn very simple. You be surprised some people won't come to your country because they want to keep their old ways and don't always work

We African American people have been lied to about our history. These fake DNA test are bogus and so many have been fooled by the inaccurate data. I did my family’s genealogy and discovered we had no African ancestors, nor did we ever come from Africa. Many will discover they’re indigenous to America and their families were never slaves but, owned land, and farmed that land. I’m not sure when the African lies came about but, we have no ties to Africa other than the lies we were taught in movies, and textbooks. African’s exploit our people for money, and a chance to obtain a Green Card. They know we are not them

Bro, no disrespect, but not all so-called African Americans came from Africa. I know more about history than most people. As Americans, we aren't taught the full story of World or US history, and much is left out. For example, Liberia began in the early 19th century as a project of the American Colonization Society (ACS), which believed black people would have better chances for freedom and prosperity in Africa than in the United States. Between 1822 and the outbreak of the American Civil War in 1861, more than 15,000 freed and free-born African Americans, along with 3,198 Afro-Caribbeans, relocated to Liberia. Gradually developing an Americo-Liberian identity, the settlers carried their culture and traditions with them. Do you think we shared some of their culture because they brought it from the Americas? This is just one example of how history is often misrepresented to us.

Why did they move there in the first place?, of those who make the move how many are successful and end up staying ?. what countries are most desirable for African Americans? Is there a difference in how native Africans treat Europeans and Chinese who come to Africa as opposed to how they treat African Americans? Good questions that this post does not touch on.

Slavery still exists everywhere, mostly in Africa. Yes, today. Why nobody cares about that? Because this people is hypocrate, they dont care about people suffering. They just want to divide us in order to Control us better. Polititians and the media are so afraid of our freedom that this is the only way to get power. As the saying goes: "divide to conquer" and "call them bad, then they would not see how bad you are"

And nobody ever mention the slave trade between native american peoples too. Slavery always existed. The first nations or cultures that abolished that were the "white" european/american nations ! Thats a fact. When Cortez arrived in Mexico he was offered many women as slaves by the native people. One of those slaves was the famous dona marina, or Malinche.

It is the 21st century maybe read what Gaddafi wanted for his Continent and his African People. The US and UK took him down so Africa can never be whole.
