Thank you sir! :) I love the more minimalist and realistic-looking armaments that take inspiration from historical weapons. A lot of them have a kind of elegance that really appeals to me.

Hey, thanks! :) The video description has all of the parry frames. Regular parry, Stormwall, and Thop's Barrier were recently buffed in the pre-DLC update, so I'm a little unsure of how many inactive windup frames they now have. I just know that they come out earlier now, which is a very good thing, as in the past, using parry on a non-dagger weapon felt too often like gambling. As of now, they feel a lot closer to dagger in terms of when to input them. Medium shield and regular weapon parries (excluding dagger), still have the worst parry frames in the game though. I like to use parry on curved swords cause it's stylish and it's a fun flex on people lol. Also because two-handing curved swords has the potential to be ridiculously strong and has a very high skill cap. It seems like they have more frames now, but dagger parry, small shield parry, buckler parry, and the 4 magic parries are superior. Both Carian Retaliation and Golden Parry are the best, at 14 active frames, but they come out super fast, so the parry for those often has to be pulled earlier to connect. Dagger parry is a favorite of mine, as the windup is pretty long, and due to the way my brain works, I sometimes instinctually pull parries too early in response to telegraphed weapon arts. Because of the windup that dagger parry has, this often allows the active frames it has (9 active frames) to connect at the right time. If you want the most reliable parries, however, Golden Parry and Carian Retaliation are your best bet. Just don't put them on a Buckler. People for some reason believe that magic parries on a buckler make it better or something, which is completely false. Parry AOW frames overwrite the default frames on an armament. They do not add to the frames. I never use Buckler, because not only does it give away your intention to parry to your opponent, but it has terrible physical damage-negation and guard boost. Medium METAL shields with GP or CR will give you the same exact frames as they would on Buckler, and will allow you to use guard counters, and completely negate physical damage. Medium Metal shields will also allow you to effectively block AOWs with a non-parryable initial attack, whilst having enough guard boost to parry the follow-up attack. A great example of where medium shields do tremendously well, is when dealing with Rivers of Blood or Flaming Strike. Block the first attack, and parry the second.

I used to be very good at parries on ds3, but for some reason i struggle to pull them out on elden ring. Hopefully with your video as reference, i will be able to be more consistent with it :)

Thank you sir! :) The chestpieces that I used in the video are Prisoner Clothing, and Noble's Traveling Garb. If you pair either of those with the Traveler's Boots, they look really nice IMO.

The headbands that I used in the video are the Leather Headband and the Commoner's Headband (Altered). As you likely already know, the Commoner's headband is a relatively common drop. The Leather Headband (headband with the flowing cloth) can be found with the rest of its set on a short ledge, just before encountering the Rugalea boss in the western forest of Rauh Base.
