Genoa Nervi - Day trip to the Ligurian Coast
Genoa Nervi, located about 7 kilometers from the city center, is a picturesque village on the Ligurian Coast. We strolled the seaside promenade, visited the main shopping district and the Nervi waterfront park. Plus, of course, we found a great local place for lunch!

And we did our best to see it all. We visited the Cinema Museum, National Car Museum, the former Fiat test track, the Royal Palaces, the Porta Palazzo market, the Parco Valentino, Monte dei Cappuccini, and some elegant ca...

Spanish Pyrenees - Ainsa, Ordesa & Monte Perdido National Park
มุมมอง 1.2K11 หลายเดือนก่อน
We wanted our Spain vacation to include mountain scenery and a small, quiet village. Since we were traveling from Donastia to Tamariu, the lovely village of Ainsa in the Spanish Pyrenees was the perfect (almost) mid way stop. It was only a 1 hour drive from the entrance to the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park. The park is large (about 96 square miles), so we only able to explore a small p...

Ronda Spain: Stunning views & best hike to El Tajo Gorge!
มุมมอง 2.1Kปีที่แล้ว
We spent 3 nights and 2 days in Ronda, Spain. It really wasn't enough time...but we are a bit lazy! Perched on a plateau, with stunning views overlooking the El Tajo Gorge, this is one of the most beautiful cities in Andalusia. It is possibly the most popular Pueblo Blanco (white village). Fortunately, it is very easy to explore away from the crowds. We hiked to bottom of the gorge for the best...
Top Ten Things To Do In Lucca Italy
มุมมอง 55K4 ปีที่แล้ว
We would like to share our top ten things to do in Lucca, our favorite Tuscan city. The walls of Lucca are like an elevated park surrounding the city. Rent a bicycle, have a picnic or just take a stroll. Nothing is better than simple Italian food. Foccacia is a local favorite but we found the best place for pizza. Also on our list is the Guinigi Tower, Palazzo Mansi, Puccini's birthplace, opera...
The Real Venice - Rowing through Cannaregio

Venice is beautiful but can be crowded, especially if you spend your time near the most popular tourist sites. However, after just a few extra minutes of walking you can see the real Venice. Located in the northern edge of the Cannaregio neighborhood is Venice On Board, a workshop dedicated to preserving historic wooden boats. They also offer instruction in stand up rowing through the hidden ca...

It's January, it's summer, and it's HOT... but don't let the heat slow you down, because there is so much to see in beautiful Buenos Aires. Every Sunday, the cobblestoned, mile long Calle Defensa in the San Telmo neighborhood, is crowded with street performers, vendors selling antiques, leather goods and cheap souvenirs. There is live music, dancing, lots of grilled meats and, of course, feathe...

Wandering Venice - Canals, Gondolas and Cicchetti
มุมมอง 8818 ปีที่แล้ว
Wandering the narrow streets and alleyways of Venice is the best way to discover the true beauty of this amazing city. If you haven't been...go. If you have been...go again. There is no place like it in the world. Echos of the past, realities of the present and an uncertain future. Venice, Italy...118 islands and 150 canals and 400 bridges and gondolas and vaporettos and water taxis and no cars...
Bellagio - Lake Como, Italy - A lovely village ...not just movie stars!
มุมมอง 4968 ปีที่แล้ว
Just a short distance from Milan, the small town of Bellagio is known as the "Pearl of Lake Como". Surrounded by mountains and calm lake waters, it is perfect for outdoor activities. And, of course, the wine and food are excellent! Although the area is known for it's "rich and famous" residents, we we surprised to find Bellagio has a casual vibe. In just a few days, we met so many friendly and ...

Is it black friendly ?
Yes it is. Thanks for watching!
Beautiful views on the beach.
Yes, we love the beach! Thanks for watching.
Sandwiched betwee Pier House & the Hyatt. used to be "The homeless beach".
It's changed a bit but still Key West quirky.
Just what I needed to see on a cold Canadian January day. Used to leave in marathon back when it was affordable- miss those days
Oops live - autocorrect
Yes, the Keys are quite expensive.....but it seems it's always been expensive!
Nice
Glad you enjoyed it!
We are two Aussie tourists who visited Key West in May 24. We were very impressed, loved the architecture and laid back feel. It did remind us of parts of northern Australia.
Yes, we love the "old town" with all it's great historic houses. And KW certainly has a laid back quirky feel all it's own. We would love to visit Australia soon.....but it's soooo big and there's so much to see! Oh well, thanks for watching!!!
lived there 15yrs. Gate 11 was great sunbathing.
Fausto is a great food palace too. 3- blocks to our Truman Annex-president's walk townhouse. loved it.❤
Mini Havanna!😊
Yes, but the food in Cadiz is MUCH better!!!😊
There is a UFO base inside Monte Perdido.
That explains a lot of things......I blamed it on the "chupitos!"
Looks like some nice parks to visit
Yes, and up the Keys are Bahia Honda, Long Key and Curry Hammock. And of course Dry Tortugas National Park out in the Gulf!
I would think the flooding could be real bad there and storm surge?
Yes, we are doomed. "Après moi, le déluge" I don't recommend visiting in the peak of hurricane season.....August, September and October.
People like you are the reason the Florida keys is a shit hole now!
Just realized i'm an escapists sitting here in a cold tent.
Hope it’s not too cold!
It’s fine for 1 1/2 day then I’m good.
Awesome. Thanks for watching.
KW has changed.... once again.
Yes it has, like all things.......thanks for watching!
I need to go to Turin! Now!!! Nice work!
It's a great city. We really enjoyed our time there!
Your video was an instant vacation
Wow, thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it.
You can't see the humidity :)
Oy, but you really can feel it!🔥🥵☀️
1/2/25 I too live in key West on Margaret Street. Originally from New York.
Hi neighbor.....I'm a former Jersey guy.
No to many New Yorkers already lol
Thank you for taking me on a walk down memory lane for me!! You showed all the places my daughter Mary and I visited 10 years ago-
Glad to bring back some happy memories!
All fine and dandy till a hurricane cleans off the maps.
We know! Gotta enjoy it while we can.
We love Key West, but unfortunately the prices of hotels have gone up so much in the last 5 years that it’s becoming unaffordable for us… Can you recommend any hotels or places to stay that are nice , but still affordable?
Yes, accommodations are expensive, especially during high season. Try visiting in late April, May or June (before hurricane season) or November. Check out the Best Western Hibiscus. Some friends stayed there last March. They thought it was a nice place and reasonably priced. If you can stay for a full week, the vacation rentals in Truman Annex might be a good choice. Thank you for watching!
No chocolate milk at Fausto's?? Great video.
Tryin' to tell myself that my condition is improvin' And if I don't die by Thursday...........Thanks for watching!
What's it like to live full-time in Key West especially if you want to retire there ? I live in Sarasota currently and always have been fascinated with the keys.
Housing has become a serious problem. Very expensive and limited supply. If you can find somewhere affordable to live it's great! Awesome music, boating, restaurants, theater, etc.
@@ColleenAndGary what about stormy weather?
Last time I was there, some lady on drugs was fast asleep, standing in the middle of the road. Key West isn’t what it used to be.
There's a woman goin' crazy on Caroline Street Stoppin' every man that she does meet.....Jimmy Buffett 1976.
Didn’t so the best places to score drugs or the best place to be hit with a hurricanes……
its all a 'PARTY' until you get 15feet of water over your house!
Luckily we have a pair of these..... 🤿. 🤿
I didn't know that!! Don't want to live there! Visit maybe
Good and bad points to Florida, trust me.
Definitely....as with all things.
Looks absolutely beautiful!
It is very nice. We like the architecture, the sea, the music.....and especially the weather......except in August!
Awesome video!
Glad you liked it!
Love it! Just went to Bordighera last week! I’m just a stones throw away from you guys
Bordighera. We've never been there. What's it like?
Little Whitehouse subs very close to Fort Zackery are great!
Oh wow, I've heard they are good. We will have to try them!
Which key west hotels would you recommend for a couple?
The Pier House resort is a waterfront hotel (gulf side) with a variety of room choices and large spa. Although it's not waterfront, H2O Suites offers rooms with a private pool. For a more intimate experience, check out some of our historic inns. The Gardens Hotel on Angela Street is a lovely property. Island City House and the Marquesa are also nice. Enjoy your time in Key West.
Key west or Miami? That place reminds me of the island Im from.
They are very different experiences. Miami is a very big city. High rise hotels. Fancy restaurants and late night partying. Key West is a small island. Ride a bike and wear flip flops. Although it is very crowded here certain times of the year.
Is the Turtle Kraals still there?
No, it's not there anymore! We used to go to the turtle races way back. Now it's called the Boathouse Bar and Grill. They have quite a popular happy hour.
Coming down in a few weeks. Renting a motorcycle in Miami and riding down for a few days visit. It's cold up here in Nova Scotia. Been there a few times.
Have a great trip. 75°F here right now! Nova Scotia is beautiful. We stayed in Cheticamp and Lunenburg and had a wonderful time.
❤Thank you for sharing this beautiful place an Merry Christmas love you all God bless you
Merry Christmas to you too. Thanks for watching.
RIP Jimmy Buffet
He will be missed.....
What is the name of this park?
Fort Zachary Taylor State Park. Our favorite beach in Key West.
Thank You 🙏! Maybe we’ll run 🏃 into you guys! Enjoy 😉!!
Like that you said you have a secret spot! Myself and my wife have a retirement home in St.Augustine. We have a secret spot as well!!! LoL 😂 We now escape New England Boston Winters! Great video and information about Key West! Hope to make it down there in 2025!
Thanks for watching. Hopefully you two can visit KW.....it's a lot of fun!
It’s on our bucket list of places to see this year!
I've been to both key West and St Augustine a few times and I will have to say I think I like St Augustine just a little bit better. Both of them are incredible and fun places
I lived there from 1984-2014. Few things have changed-glad to see Fausto’s up n running yet- a neat little store.
We love Fausto's! It's amazing how much stuff they can fit in such a little store. We just got back from there right now.
@ it is a neat store and good variety of things- they used to have the best fresh fish- I don’t know if they still do. Used to go there after stopping by bath n body works that used to be on Duval n a quick stroll to Fausto’s. Have fun.
Do you need a pool boy, haha
If we had a pool!
Love the cottages but way to expensive to live or own a home
Sad but true.....
Where are you from? NY?
Close.....New Jersey!
Wonder how much of a nest egg you had to afford real estate in KW? Cheers!
Ostrich.

Best live music in Key West!
Key West is great! On super rare occasions you even run into nice people that are sober.
Sober???
@Loki-rascal They’re ostriches and only travel on sandy beaches or low-level lakes.
We just moved there after 12years in Mexico and it's so much better and less expensive and much safer. Get out of Mexico this is by fare much better.
Less expensive???
