Including about how two of the countries you mentioned are under heavy trade blockades, one for half a century, and one is winning in the game of capitalism. Capitalism also isn't immune to tyranny, as per your example of Russia, which is a capitalist oligarchy.

@@finntrovert Hey partner, I know I just left you a long response but I deleted it. Lemme apologize to ya, because regardless if we see eye to eye on some of these topics. Truth is I came in heavy with my comment, and honestly that's not what I intended to do. This is a well made video and I applaud you on the work it must have taken to make it. I started playing UO a few months after its official launch, and didn't know it was apart of a whole series until my 20's. So thank you for making this a one stop shop for Ultima lore. Bravo 👏

@@lordpogggaming7495 One of the most interesting parts of life is differences in opinion, and I love discussing those differences with people who actually come into such discussions honestly. That's why we have a meme on Twitch about going on tangents for hours while the game is on pause. XD It's just easy to assume the other person isn't interested in an actual discussion, and the Internet seems to be geared towards making us feel more apart and divided. Which is a shame. Ultima Online though? I was an addict for a while. Running around naked, carrying ore, getting stabbed by a ganker. Those were the days, and I will always remember them fondly. @@finntrovert Well honestly I could go on and on about politics, and almost did here but its like the Good Book says, "There's a season for everything." Personally when I got to thinking about it, I was like if I had put all this time and effort into this massive video, and the one thing someone focused on the most was a superfluous off hand comment I made. Regardless if we agree or not, we have common ground on what the actual topic of the video is and that's what should be important. Yeah Ultima Online was wild when it first started, those were the days before Devs played God and coddled players. So PVP was rampant, running into a random group on the road usually meant I was gonna get got for no other reason than because I was there lolz. You keep up the good work partner!

@lordpogggaming7495 Hear hear! That's the prime intent of these videos, to focus primarily on the games, and find the fun in them. More in depth debates and discussions are better held elsewhere. The early days of UO were fascinating. I was primarily a crafter, dispensing my services from a small hut near Britain, always aware that I might get stabbed in the back, but that was a part of the game, and I didn't mind it at all. Having "vendor buy bank guards!" in a quick button was another thing I will always remember. XD

@finntrovert NCsoft that's what it was. I'm looking at a Game Informer from August 2005 and it had a big editorial at the end for Ultima and they mentioned Tabula.

@@Hanmacx He actually just says that he should be prepared, and doesn't comment at all on his lack of earlier preparation, nor disbelief. But even if he did, that wouldn't change how it acts gameplay wise as a teaching experience for the player. It would just give a lore reason for it.

​@@finntrovert It took me a while to think about it, But after a while I noticed what I dislike about Zombies in Thief My assumption was that Undead doesn't fit with Pagans and their "Nature God" But the Trickster was fooling the Pagans too. He is no Nature God, he is a Chaos God. And twisting Life into an Undead Form might fit into the Description of Chaos God

Yeah, it is a more story focused game than a challenging one.

@@rikybj0276 Because the changing of the fate of Soul Reaver at the end of Soul Reaver 2 didn't only create a new future, but also changed the past to ensure things would end up a certain way. It's the waves of time rearranging itself in SR2. BO2 shows this new past.

@rikybj0276 That is a part of it, and later games go deeper into the vulnerabilities vampires gain as they become more vampiric.

@@finntrovert interesting!! i noticed how raziel is invulnerable to sunlight and mentioned how newborns were vulnerable but kain was a newborn but was invulnerable to it

@@damianchee9842 It's definitely flawed, and I understand many of the complaints others have pointed out, but I also feel like there's a lot of positives and potential that isn't highlighted often enough.

@@asdfasdfasdf4746 The controls are a bit janky for modern sensibilities, but not too bad to get used to. Definitely worth a try, and it's easy to get your hands on the game too.

The beauty of the internet is that you can make your own video where you can share your own thoughts and experiences, which may be very different of those from other people! Then you can also have people who have an inaccurate view of who you are create a fantasy version of you and say you're wrong because they had a different experience! It's magical.
