We got the Horizon Hobby's Pro Boat sonicwave. This is a 6s v-hull boat that rips. we took it out on our recent lake trip and had some fun. Of course, you know we had to put a raw 500 in for steering!!

LOL too much sun out there for me, I'll burn. They still eat batteries but its because you are WOT the whole time. It's one hell of a fun ride that's for sure.

@@reefsrcdudes I crawl go boating afterwards. They take a kayak with them. It running alongside the 1/1 was cool. You must not of had it sealed to right itself

Ours has a greater gear range. So you can use it on a straight axle truck and a portal without needing two trans for ideal gear ratio.

Pinion to final gear ratio recommendations? 9-15 for straight axles and 16-20 for portals for example? May help with starting points for new custom builders.
I would recommend 11T for straight axles, and 12T-13T for F10 portals, and 14T-15T for Axial portals

Using this video to setup my reefs 179 . Success read parameters message displayed. Trying to adjust servo neutral position but no response from servo! How do I remedy this. I can hear ur steering adjusting in this video as you use the slider. I got nothing.
You set the position the write it then hook it up to your truck. You can’t adjust on the fly. Way easier on the remote for that feature.
any plans for an SCX6 trans?

So, where do you get the micro adapter for the brake servo? I bought the micro 99 and horn, no adapter? Please explain. Plus this servo is bigger than the stock one, deeper - is there something I'm missing? Thanks!
I'm not sure what you are referring to for micro adapter. the 99 horn we use our shorty micro horn and the cable stop is in the description. it is slightly longer but will fit without an issue.
@@reefsrc I am referring to the stock brake servo horn, it's 20t the 99 servo is a 25t. Also, the stock servo is smaller, the 99 is deeper by 5mm, this was never mentioned in the vague video for your product. Is there a spacer you sell as well or adapter to make the servo fit in the limited space in the losi promoto? Please advise. Thanks.
Axial fest needs a new venue. They used to have it at real crawl spots. And now they make everyone go to a band camp in the middle of nowhere to crawl loads of dump truck rock.
