Yeah it's crazy how luck bends us over some days. I farmed a similar amulet for my Sentinel and it took 58 tries. Good luck with the achievements if you're going for them.

I'm fine. 3 years of 30-90 minute episodes basically every day will burn a man out. A lot has happened in the last 2 months and I was about ready to start again and I got sick, so once this is done, I'll probably be back.

There are many alternatives. None of them are anywhere near as good. Just use whatever you have until you get Korvaak's Brand. It wont break the build, you'll just do a lot less damage without it.

In my opinion it's still the best route. However if you've farmed it for a long time, it's probably worth taking a break. Second best is probably Blood Grove up to Zaria. After that, I'd start looking for individual totems like the Ancient Aetherwarped in the Rotting Cropland or the Forsaken Savage in the Asterkarn Valley. There's also the 2 totems in Malmouth that are usually fairly fast to get.

Yeah, just don't farm it. Update the MIs you were using and just keep pushing. You can still farm totems at 100 for purple items when you get there. It looks like Krieg's set doesn't drop in Elite anymore too.

@@Paikis I've just done about 40 runs in elite and got zero drops, so yes doesn't look like Krieg's set drops in Elite anymore - although I didn't see anything in patch notes that mentioned it.

I've killed Ravager with it, but haven't tried any of the others.

It does indeed. Ideally you want to be about level 28 from memory. it's a bit better than it used to be, and I'm pretty sure I said it's optional.

Absolutely, yes. The only differences in this playthrough are Sunder, and some of the MIs are much easier to farm.

The rare ones are actually rare. They have a higher drop chance from Nemesis Troves and from SR... I think 20 is the new 50.

Good luck! If you can kill Kubakabra, I'd try to spawn him and get his trove. He's the easiest Nemesis IMO.

@Paikis the builds I use can stand in its blood pools and be fine. Killed him a bunch with not much luck. It's just a patience game, I suppose.

It is now. When 1.2 launched, the drop rates on a bunch of stuff was horrendous. It's better now for sure.

So called? It's literally what it is. It's out of date only because of Sunder and nothing else, all the hardcore achievements are covered.

Personally I prefer Necromancer. Warder is basically a defensive mastery combo, and I don't value the extra defense over more damage. You can do everything in the game with the squishiest mastery combo, more defense isn't that useful IMO. Necro has extra physical resistance shredding, so more damage and also has some nice effects for reducing enemy damage and giving yourself a lot of hitpoints.

@Paikis thanks. I know that shaman and Necro have some life Leach. And I think that Death Knight is less "piano build" in melee. For the moment with only soldier mastery it's okay. I think I will choose the second one at least in the Malmouth severs

The scary totem in the Warden's area isn't really that scary. Most builds should be able to kill it, but it's a risk that you don't need to take. And like I said in the video, that totem probably has the highest kill count of just about anything in the game.

Problem with farming is that all that gear is out of date in 10 levels. Glad you're having fun with the build though.

Not at all, have a look around, explore. Everything will scale with your level, so you'll be fine.

You'd run out of energy. There are some builds that ectoplasm is just needed for.

I'm good. Burned out and taking a break. Also moving house. The only word I hate more than carry or elevator is stairs. My legs look amazing though. Back soon I think.

This is a good starting option. I'd also recommend the Deathknight or Elementalist builds I have on the channel. All are solid builds for a first character. If you want to do pets, there's Cabalist for skeletons, or Ritualist for skeletons with a focus on the bigger pets at 100, or Conjurer which I haven't played on the channel yet. I'm not a fan, but some people love it. It's a play style thing for me, nothing wrong with the build.

@@Paikis Im playing the death knight one but my resistances arent the best at all but im still enjoying my time, i just dont know where to really farm gear or what gear to farm since im only level 30, and I just feel so lost in the world at the moment

It's a great build. Can be a little squishy while levelling, but easily one of the best builds I've played. Good luck with it.

I read everything, and yes, it's great. Except for the noise, though that's been toned down a bit too.

I haven't done one on the channel. I've seen one a while back that froze the whole screen with OFF. It looked really good.

It's still very good. I don't think anyone knows what the best build is, and I'd question anyone who tries to tell you that something is "the best". This will do very nicely though.

Blast Shield is a great circuit breaker, probably even the best one, but this build just wont see it trigger very often. You can do it, but Demolitionist doesn't have physical resistance shredding, so it's going to do less damage for a bit more safety.
