Blender 3D Cyberpunk Environment for a short film
มุมมอง 1.1K8 หลายเดือนก่อน
This is a demonstration of a scene from a short film coming soon on this channel, fully made in Blender 3D.
I really loved the compositions of the shots and the music! The lighting is on point, and the lenses they really feel like a real camera, Amazing Job 🌐🤌🏼
Thank you! I used to work with cinematography IRL and that knowledge carried over to Blender lol My next video will be all about cinematography in Blender
where did u go??
@subhanamjad9148 I made a community post about my absence lol I was jobless when I started this channel and shortly after posting my last video I got a job as a 3D artist and animator for another TH-cam channel and that was taking up 105% of my time. So last month I was finally able to make a much needed PC upgrade so now I have more free time that I’m not wasting on rendering. And I’m already wrapping up pre production on my next video and it’s going to be special! It’ll be all about cinematography and how to apply its real life concepts in Blender
Amazing. that's dreamwork level there
How much have you been doing this?
Hopefully you could license/get permissionion for the Radiohead song for use at some point in this, as the icing on the cake
It's giving me some 1980s vibes man. so good.
EEVEE - 💪
realy enjoyed this, great
Come on guys, Lets make this channel popular !! Yeah man, you deserve more subscribers.
He needs to interact with his subscribers thou, there are some questions here that people asked and we're not answered in over 2 months
What version of blender are you using? And which do you suggest?
This is most probably 3.8, which still has Ambient occlusion and screen space reflection...I'm on 4.3.2 rn and it does not have those features, I think they are built in but somehow they don't feel all that visible imo
Thank you so so much. Such an informative video 👌💕 Please keep on posting, you make an amazing content
hello brothers, my blender doesnt have those taps, is it because i have the 4.2 version?
Do you know how i can make the ambient occlusion of the raytracing the same, because when I move the camera the ambient occlusion looks different.
Please eevee render settings full tutorial and rendering
Can you make a tutorial for emulating grain in compositor plz ? That old video effect at the end is so cool!
@@noelflantier5441 Thank you! That is actually a huge node group for emulating vhs that I got in a video where an artist recreates the simpsons in Blender, the video was huge (in views) and I tried looking for it to give you the link but it appears to be taken down. Can’t seem to find it anywhere on TH-cam. Also recently in Blender 4.2 the vhs effect strangely makes everything grayscale, and I’ve spent some time trying to figure it out but still no success lol. If I end up finding the video I’ll let you know.
What version of Blender is this? Look like it was published in June 2024... I'm using 4.2.0 and AO, Bloom, and Screen Space Reflections aren't listed under the Render Properties. Any pointers on this build of Blender?
You're a natural teacher. Hope you will do more videos, especially in animation, physics sims, how to apply textures & materials, displacement.....if you have time. Thanks! 😉👍
Thank you! I sure will, I even have a lot of recorded and half edited material, but I'm very busy with freelance work at the moment. But I'm preparing some real good content to post soon, and I do want to cover all of these topics you mentioned. By the way, Eevee Next has displacement now, give it a try!
@@void_visuals_ Awesome! Looking forward to your tutorials, tips, etc. Glad you're busy with freelance, too. 😉👍 BTW, just tried to use PayPal for your Patreon, but was declined. =( Will call them to see why, as no problems before.
Later......all OK now with PayPal. 👍👍
I agree....very mellow voice. You are well prepared, cover a lot, not too fast. Background music could be a little less volume, but still can understand you very well. Great teacher! I learned a lot in just the 7 min. Thanks!!! 😉👍
Thank you so much for your feedback!
=o
sorry to ask but, do you know any tips to get good looking glass and water droplets and also condensation or wet look, thanks
this is not correct... this is not for the most recent version of blender
did you check the upload date and the follow up video?
@@void_visuals_ i just know when i googled "how to bake indirect lights eevee blender 4.2" this was one of the results and all of them neglected to mention how to do it additionally i did not see any bits of a followup video .. is it in the description?
this is so cool man... how would you deal with a moving lantern though? lets say a character has a lamp . how can u do that if baking makes it static?
@@LASHMAD there are three ways you could go about it. You could hide said lantern while you bake the background lighting, because the lantern not casting indirect lighting may not even make that much of a difference. You could also bake every frame, which in some cases may be even faster than cycles, depending on your computer power. Or you could use Blender 4.2 which has ray tracing in Eevee, and in my experience, and in my machine, there was pretty much no difference in render times, it’s still fast.
Thanks !!
Amazing dude! I’m just starting Blender and this is so helpful!! 🙏🙏
Thanks so much for this video. I am just about to jump into EEVEE NEXT after spending all my short time in Blender in Cycles. Liked and Subbed!
Absolutely crazy. I am still trying to get my head around the fact that these incredible results were produced in EEVEE! Love the film too - super!
thats some insane work! props to you !
your cinematography is amazing, serious skills.
Does anyone else think this release is unstable? It looks pretty decent in the viewport, but I get some bugs with the lighting in the renders like flickering.
This is cool... blender 4.2 came with raytracing and I was trying it out a bit.. does that do the same thing that irradiance vol here does? or does it have any extra stuff that needs to be set so that we get more realism...?
super and easy sir
EVEE can't handle visibilty object in camera for get only reflection without objek
thanks! trying out all the new features u mentioned, great way to explain the way the retrace works. I will be watching more! plus I think u and I have similar style interests so it will be great to learn from you. thanks much keep it up!
I thought I would never use Eevee and now you inspired me to use it, such a great work
Going into the Film settings and turning on + increasing the overscan feature can be really useful as well, when the limiting screen-space nature of the GI becomes noticable. It basically just computes and renders a certain amount over the camera border which can be really useful if reflections seem to be cut off or shadows shift and disappear.
Best EEVEE NEXT video I've seen so far.
where is bloom ?
@@nicksiber it’s been removed from Eevee but you can use it via compositing. I mention it at 5:55

how you make texture?
i make some of them procedurally and I use the BlenderKit Addon for most of them
Salut j'ai telechargé la mise a jour de Blender version 4.2 mais y a pas Elevee Next dedant vraiment je n'ai comprends pas !
What about render times?
@@juanortega7493 at least on my machine, they were pretty much the same as with the old eevee. I’ve got an 8GB 2060 Super
@@void_visuals_ thank you man!
Awesome Video ❤
When baking the lights do you have to do anything different to account for moving geo such as the character? I thought light baking only really works with static scene.
@@glowshedfilms I baked it without the character in the scene so only the environment was affected. It works great with static lighting, not necessarily static scenes. But you can get away with baking just the main lights in your scene, and then add moving lights later (like the light in my character’s head) But hey, check out Eevee Next in Blender 4.2. There’s real time ray traced reflections and global illumination.
@@void_visuals_ Oh there's real time GI in 4.2 Eevee? Seems i miss that. I resist 4.2 a little due to all the big changes they made, but might be good to try again. Thanks for the reply, makes sense now! :)
@@glowshedfilms yeah sure, I made a video on it lol
Excellent work and tutorial!
There is something soothing in ur voice which is perfect for tutorials
@@satyamanu2211 lol thanks! Glad to know that
I'm using 2.9 but might update. this looks pretty AWESOME
Please make some good interior tutorial in evee next. And you are goooood.
switch to cycles. eevee next is so slow and still has artefacts all over the place. legacy eevee is much faster, and good enough for its use: the viewport.
@@nm-com I was using cycles only for like 2 years, now I switched to Eevee and I’m getting really good results, especially with Eevee next which is not slow at all for me. Also I’m getting no artifacts. And as for its use, it’s called a render engine, so I’ll keep rendering with it lol it looks great, I don’t see why not use it
great vid, many thanks
Greetings from Brasil. Nice video, very handy. Gave me a lot of information about evee next. I am very excited to have it. thank´s
