Game Reviews for Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, Xbox, and PS1.
Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain Of Memories
The Kingdom Hearts series continues as we arrive at the first of many side games. Chain Of Memories on the Game Boy Advance. Though thankfully Square was nice enough the remake the game on PS2, so will be looking at that version. With a different battle system and a more complex plot, how does the second game in the franchise hold up?

Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone Game Boy Advance Review

Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone Game Boy Advance Review
Just got the CD soundtrack for this game in the mail today at 3:59p.m. and it's the "Sonic The Hedgehog Original Sound Track" CD and I'm listening to it while watching this! 7:58p.m. 10/22/2024
I had a free demo of this game for PC. I loved it as a kid and played it many times but, it ended at the bridge of khazad dum, with the option to download the full game... 20 years later I just found the disc. I guess I'll leave it in the nostalgia box 😂
Thank you for sparing me having to put this game in the console and discover it was stupid
Another example of nitpick narcissism.
Childhood memories.
saw this at a flea market, $5 for the 2 discs and ALL the inserts by god i dont have a ps2 but it will look cool in my collection of weird stuff
Just finished the gamecube version on my wii u. The lighting is a lot more bland compared to the xbox.
Great video! You did the game justice. Now I’m waiting for Return Of The King.
This game is great.
I disagree, I think the characters speaking in the levels was cool. And I still like the PS2 version
How to save the game on GameCube
I am a bit late to this, but there is one flaw I noticed with this game, far more severe than the ones you mentioned: - Once you unlock the ability to collect potion ingredients and brew your own potions, you can head to a location of an ingredient (they are always in the same place, same plant/bush, so you just have to find it once and remember the location). Then, you can collect the position, go to the menu and back by pressing 'start' twice. This will 'refresh' the plant, and you can collect the ingredient again. In minutes, you can collect enough ingredients for the large healing potion to last the entire game. Also, as you mentioned, you can avoid most fight all together. Towards the end of the game, you have to collect 5 chickens for Hagrid. The chickens hardy deal any damage and can be taken out with pretty much any spell due to their low health. This is all fine, except for the fact that you can simply keep fighting the chickens after you have collected the first time. Even worse, the chickens seem to respawn in the same area you killed one, often right next to you. Thus, you can simply kill like 100 chickens in like half an hour to an hour of grinding a level up significantly (did I forget they give something around 75xp iirc, double the xp most basic enemies give) AND maximize all of your spells. Not as effective as your method in the final section of the game, but doesn't require abusing the death mechanic (not that it matters, but just to point out there is more than one road to Rome).
You can’t play as Doc Ock in Spider-Man 2 because Sam Raimi disliked how in the 2002 Spider-Man game, you could play as the Green Goblin.
The hobbit is actually really fun.
So glad I found this. I was about to download LotR games for ps2 for nostalgia and I thought the screenshots looked off...now ahead to the Two Towers.
this game is hard as fuck.
You say everything like this game came after the chamber of secrets while it's the first game of harry potter
Xbox/PS2 Sorcerer's Stone came out in 2003, that's why. It's a copy and paste of the Chamber of Secrets game
Yes, I own this game on my Xbox 360, but there is a problem with the frame rate and some scenes are slow, such as the first scene in the game where Harry and Ron are in the flying car, and there is slow control when starting the game. It's an amazing game, but it really lacks some speed. Is there a solution to the problem or not?💔😩
Do you think you'll ever do a face reveal? Been watching the channel since you're first Harry Potter review. Keep up the good work, dude!
Where are the other Bond reviews??
I like Kingdom Hearts
I like Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories
I like The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
I like The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
New to your content but if I may recommend jak and daxter series.
CoM was my first ever KH game waaaaay back when I was younger. I have very fond memories of this game playing both Sora and Riku and experiencing the new characters in the Organization members. As of now, Axel is my favorite, but when I first played, Marluxia (I called him Mar-LUX-i-a since it was never said out loud) was my favorite mainly because his weapon summon was really friggin cool. All in all I have fond memories of this game and am currently going through RE:CoM on my PS5. 7/10 I agree with 👍
Fellowship was a good try but this is what that game should have been
Great review. I have the HD collection but this particular game I haven't played yet.
IMO the Jeremy Soule soundtrack for the HP games is way better than the soundtrack in the movies. I think it suited the games better and as far as i'm aware it was actually composed first.
I would never choose to play as Legolas.
He has the best ranged attacks but the weakest armour and melee attacks.
@@nordicwarriorgaming4953 I don't want to play as Orlando Bloom
at first he's a mid character due to his lacking melee, but once you upgrade his ranged attacks, he is OP af. He's your best bet to do Saruman's towers with the least difficulty. @@nordicwarriorgaming4953
loved this game!
This is not confirmed, just my theory: EA didn't want to make one version stand out control-wise (this game is nearly identical on PS2 and GameCube). As such, the GameCube controller wouldn't have enough buttons to compensate a third spell and character change button. PS2 and Xbox users would have such an advantage over GameCube players if this were the case. So, EA restricted the game to just 2 spell buttons on all console versions of Prisoner of Azkaban. Additional note: there is a bird's eye camera perspective in this game. It's mapped to the white button on Xbox. Although, it only works in certain maps and is kinda useless. The game never mentions it and I'm pretty sure the manual doesn't either.
“Getting them feels like someone kicked you in your Knuts while cutting you with a Sickle and drowning you in a Galleon of water” might just be my favorite sentence/pun in 2023 I’ve been following your vids since the start and I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since those of reviews
This is my favorite Simpsons game
Despite a lower frame rate and choppier animations, the camera is far better in the PS2's stealth sections. I got the PS2 version, and well, it's an example of how better graphics don't always make it a better game.
This is one of, if not thee greatest GBA game of all time imo
This movie was awful. God Bless.
4:22 No, just subdue or punch their lights out, providing they do not have guns.
Can you subdue them if you get spotted, though, before they attack, I've never tried, but the hint usually pops up if spotted
What happened to this guy? He hasn't uploaded in 5 months.
I liked this game a lot when I was a kid even though the Banner levels were extremely frustrating. It is fun to smash things as the Hulk for a while, but the repetitive combat gets old very quick. They should've done what the first Spider-Man movie game did and allowed the Hulk to get new combos so that fighting doesn't feel so redundant. Also, the Banner levels while a decent attempt at offering variety, are way too difficult. The A.I isn't very good on enemies, so it's easy to just walk into a group of soldiers and they'll overwhelm you. Also, that military base level where Banner is disguised as a soldier is a fun idea, but it's annoying how you can't get too close to anyone otherwise it's pretty much over. Why even both with the disguise then? Flawed, but when it comes to movie tie-in games, you could do a lot worse.
Calypso is in the Spider Man 2 game, just as a side challenge.
When will you do the Goblet of Fire review? :D
can you review Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2?
Lol the magical racing tour rip off.
Very much hoping you are able to / working on a Hogwarts Legacy review!
Hoping a Hogwarts Legacy video is in the making from you! Liking the game so far. It clearly has great fan love and Hogwarts and Hogsmeade are incredible. The open world is kind of meh though and the flight controls are kind of garbage. Already put 25 hrs in though, so I'm def having fun.
The original Hogwarts Legacy
I had it on PS2. I was always puzzled by the lack of the invisibility cloak and the plots of certain characters and FINALLY someone mentioned the sword firing lightning out of the end-that bugged me lol. It’s interesting seeing the smoother frame rate of the GC and Xbox, but glad I had the PS2 version.
Actually, you can take out the enemies while using stealth, and that is by yanking the enemies back and forth while on the ceiling.
My god, this game looks ugly. What did this come out again, and who was still making PS1 games when the PS2 was already out?
