Corrosion on the cap sucks. I used gun lubricant / rust inhibitor and tried opening the cap until I was successful. Don’t forget using soft hammering over the cap with a hard wood stick or a screwdriver handle. Protect paint and don’t use metal other than a small screwdriver to wiggle the cylinder. Ten minute attempts morning and night over three days seemed to break away hard corrosion. Don’t lose your cool and Good luck.

Just got new winter tires installed for my 2011 Corolla on a smaller set of rims with new TPMS sensors put on the winter rims too. Left the shop with no lights after the sensors were cloned and programmed but the TPMS light came on the second time I took the car out and turned the ignition. Going to try your tips out. I did the first few steps but I think I was being too impatient and turning the car off or ignition on too quickly without giving it time to learn. I just assumed it wasn't working when the light stayed solid / on after the three blinks. Will report back.

I don’t suppose you would have the part number for your tacho cable?? I have the same bike and have the same problem with the leak there at the engine

My 850cc Special has a oil cooler. It has about 29K miles. It has been pretty reliable, but I did have to replace the electronic ignition unit. You can find them used for around $40. Also it has a oil filter. Pretty tough made Motorcycle.

beware of the second gear change, rise your foot hign and strong otherwise, second gear will not last. . . And for the very best night vision, find yourself Bosh front beam with 55/80 watts H-4 bulb. . . .Night will become day. . ☺

Leave car engine off while jumping … also negative cable to non painted metal (foot peg or similar) on bike not negative terminal on bike battery 👍

to check the oil level, put the motorcycle up right , vertical, start the engine a few seconds to fill all the interior of the engine and once running the level should be 1/2 to 3/4 up in the sight glass. . cold in the morning, can be full and it is ok. .

The petcock has 3 positions; ON. . for every day ride. RES reserve for when the fuel tank is getting low and a PRI..: primer position for bypassing the vacuum auto shot off of gas flow. . Love this tripple sound 🥰

I had an old carbureted sport bike I had to change the petcock on, so I was expecting it to just dump fuel everywhere as soon as the line was disconnected. Very happy to know that I won’t need to drain my tank on my new bike.

The oil leak is coming from the tachometer cable drive gear oil seal and the drive gear O-ring and not the cable itself

Silly question but I am a complete novice... what was the black tube connected too... I have a ticking sound on my bike and need to change the spark plug just to see if it has a faulty connection... I have to add it has died a couple of times at traffic lights too

Too bad that doesn't work for all Toyotas. I have a 2007 RAV4 that does NOT have that reset button. I am stuck with finding a mechanic with the TPMS hand computer to do the reset.
