That's silver run forest coming out of the sawmill I've actually got 2 grass fields setup across from there and beside the saw mill I fit in 4 buildings and some underground bunkers and few other things as well great logging map

Found a weird glitch if you rent the train then put an owned vehicle on it stop renting once it returns to the map you should be able to drive it without owning it

The engine is garbage. And its not "not garbage" because people buy it. People buy it because they have no alternative that can meet it at its current state. Just because theres no alternatives doesn't mean its good, its still bad. Lol

The only thing stopping modders like myself to turning FS into ATS is the limitations Giants refuses to improve on. Large maps get laggy when there is a lot of detail, and the driving physics are never their priority. It sucks. Because if they were, FS could blow ATS out of the park because of the functionality. ATS just lets you drive. FS lets you do everything with the vehicles.

The only reason why they focused on graphics over gameplay is because looks make money. And all they care about is money and they are greedy. I wish they focused on gameplay because that is more important once you do purchase the game.

I'm hopeless about farming I simply don't want to play another FS with the hope that in maybe 20 years will have evolved to something I would like to play nowadays. I think FS is one of the worst communities from a videogame (except from modders) a bunch or complacent people who would pay (each time more money) to a company that is laughing at their face and just waits for the modders to save their lame game. Community is holding back the title clapping hands at any sh1t they receive from Giants and giants knows to earn millions easily laughing at their face. I refused to believe so but I am getting now more convinced of this with each tittle. The tornado is lame, I just want better AI to hire without having to use a mod like course play. I probably wont be buying anytime soon.

I have a 500 hp tractor but when I have the train hooked up and try to activate the rear mower it wont turn on, am I missing something?

Is there anything related to forestry in 25. Or do I have to continue of the various forestry modder's again. Forestry, like it or not is but one of the many type's of "FARMING", which a "FARMING SIMULATOR" should spend more time on, besides it only being introduced. Since its introduction, it only the modder's that have caused forestry to be what it is in 22. Giant doesn't seem to have to the N-th degree, any interest other than its introduction into the game.

Off topic, why was my Ponsse scorpion king’s paint destroyed after only about 20-30 minutes of light tree processing!!? The repaint is so expensive.

Considering they want 103.99 for FS25 - Year 1 Bundle I will not be buying it. I bought all of the DLC's for FS22 and Im not sure why when I can get everything offered through mods. NGL I will probably get a "free" version when it releases unless it's on gamepass day 1 which I highly doubt

I was playing Red Dead Redemption 2 the other day, which is a Cowboy story game, but it has a very minor element of farming. But they do it so well. The animals look great and actually have realistic behavior. You can scare a cow and the whole herd will start running around and they can accidentally trample a small animal along the way. There is a part where you work on a ranch and you can milk a cow by hand and scoop up waste in a barn all very realistically. This just makes me wonder what a farming game can look like with this kind of expertise and commitment.

Also, there is a mod to hold cntrl while brushing that holds it on the same line so it's straighter

Omg.. nooooooooooooooo. You can change the size of the brush!? I've spent 200 hours painstakingly brushing with the smallest size on PC. Can you change the size on PC, because it does not show that option...

The farming sim series is turning out to be as big of a disappointment as ATS for me. Had i known back in fs11 that they would take the CoD approach and just push out a barely added upon version of the last game for a cash grab I wouldnt have wasted my time with this series.

There isnt much you can do in terms of improving the Graphics imo, to switch to say unreal engine, it would probably take them Forever and it would likely run Even worse with higher requirement for entry to the Game. The Game already Runs Bad enough on Most Maps above 1x, and switching to Unreal or other options would lose them Money and would make Maps run Even worse. Fs25 Looks great and Theres no real reason to complain about it, it’s just a nothing Burger

Thank you for this! My kids and I were also looking for the most efficient way to harvest our fields, and now we have a clear winner. I was doing the alternating rows method previously, so now I'm looking forward to trying out the circle method.

As a new player this year, I'm shocked at how poor some of the assets are in this game.

@12:30 if you just cut the trees and drag them into the factory do Oak or American Elm. Both grow much faster than Stone Pine. Oak takes less than 5 months to fully grow and gives you around 11000 liters. American Elm is just under 9 month and procudes 21 000. Stone Pine takes 24 month to fully grow for 14 000 liters. So if you need wood fast go for Oak, to maintain production go for Elm.

Old Engine software and old graphics has been my number 1 concern as well. Like how and the hell do we have one of if not the most popular simulator game out there, and we’re running software designed in 2007, yes it’s been “updated”, but still the same core. Really need to upgrade to unreal 5 or something even better. FS25 will be the first one I’ve never preordered since I became aware of the game, not only not preordering it, but really have no intention of purchasing it, and honestly that makes me sad…come on giants. We are OVER logging, change the focus to graphics and other things, like mining or road work, anything but more logging…

8:27 dumb take on the wheat. no studio would do that. It would bring any graphics card and processor to its knees to have that many singular meshes rendered and subject to physics at the same time.

From numerous vids I've seen on log lengths to sell, I've not seen one that took in comparison on each price per meter. For example, say there is an 18m log, is it better cut into 2 9m or 3 6m pieces? Now if the sell price was $600 for a 6m and $900 for a 9m, each is at $100 per meter, it wouldn't matter as you'd get the same on the sale. But if the 6m was selling at a higher price or the 9m at a lower price, then the 6m is favored. The bell curve on the lengths is good, but it would be interesting to see the curve taken a step beyond to see what would happen if price per meter of each size of log was taken in consideration
