She's not an introvert, she's a extrovert with huge anxiety. An introvert is fine with being alone, just like Ryo. She doesn't want to be in the spotlight. On the other side is bocchi who wants to be interesting and in the spotlight but can't handle a little bit of attention. She's literally you when you got panic attacks while being asked by the teacher something or can't go to some places because you are sweating and shaking all over while you just have to open a door. Otherwise you aren't really Bocchi. It's a really bad anxiety fucking up your whole life.

@@kampfkuchen91 bro it was an off-handed comment about a random anime, you're acting like you literally are this fucking fictional animated character. Also, you're equating your own personal experiences (or perhaps the ones you made up in your head, which is even worse) to this fictional character and then applying those experiences to every other person with this extremely common way of being. Introverts make up 25-40% of all the roughly 8 billion people on earth, and you just casually assumed that what you have seen so far accounts for all of them. Nearly 30% of the over 4 billion adults on Earth have anxiety disorders, and you just assumed that your own experiences were the same for all of them. I am an introvert, to a very extreme degree. I also have an anxiety disorder. I also want to socialize and be popular, and experience a massive amount of stress because of the anxiety of doing new things and being around people, a lot like Bocchi. None of these are contradicting, you just think they are. An introvert is simply a person who cares more for their own internal thoughts than external stimuli, seen in Bocchi's many "off in another world in her head" bits. A person with an anxiety disorder feels abnormally large amounts of distress for situations that normally wouldn't call for it, seen almost constantly in the anime (especially when Bocchi tries to gives herself a cold to avoid work). You can still be both and want to be a popular person, just as I and this fictional character do. I love staying in my little room and developing my philosophies and understandings, but there's no better feeling to me than being with my friends and doing something at least a little crazy, especially when I'm complimented for the things I'm good at. I always hate it when people don't just Google what the things they're talking about are. That's all I did for this whole post, just did a few quick Google searches for definitions and statistics, and even then I was able to refine my understanding of the things I was talking about further than they were before.

@@kampfkuchen91 Best description I've heard for intro/extroverts, is introverts are drained by being around people, extroverts are energized. But it is not to say introverts don't enjoy, or even crave, social interaction. Its just that we can only take so much before the battery runs low.

Look man, I'm speaking from personal experience because I was in a similar place, don't let these things stop you, even when you feel that there is "no point" to pursuing your hobbies do it, you are doing it for you not for anyone else.
