Eric has a Full Marshall stack and a fender stack on the side this was recorded from. So yea you hear Eric. Saw the show twice in the last month. 😀
Incorrect, and comments like this stem from little understanding of how stage volume / perspective of where you are in the crowd affects the sound. As @stevecraig7643 said, being that this video was show from the first row in front of Eric’s amps in a small venue means you wouldn’t hear much of Dave’s guitar. With that said, plenty of people on the other side of the audience would likely complain of hearing too much of Dave’s guitar and not enough of Eric. This happens frequently at EJ shows due to the extraordinarily loud stage volume, so the best spot to stand for a balanced mix is at FOH.
What a badass tune and player!? And as always, EJ has the most ridiculously in tune Strat of all time. Tempo a bit sluggish though eh?

Agree with you, but Terry is doing a great job here and he's friends with Don. In fact, Don was the producer for the first XYZ album, where Terry is the singer.
Well that is true, and i am a diehard Dokken fan. However, if there is someone who can give this song justice then it is Terry Ilous. What a Singer, he has and Don had such amazing range.
Don _could_ but his voice is shot now, so sad.
Geoff Tate would also be interesting to hear sing Dokken songs! The guy is a former opera singer and has an amazing range.
Cool to see them so close. Over here they always play bigger venues where the stage is higher and further away, so you don't get the very close connection.

I am a huge fan of Terry's always have been but Don in his prime could sing this much better. I am not Knocking Terry He worked with Don on XYZ first album Don produced it. that's why it sounds so good. Terry and Don have very different distinctive voices they both sang there own material, Nuff said
