Hello. It was a busy month for you. Starting in April I am attempting to touch all my WIPS every month. Today I stitched on something that I haven't stitched on since 1998 and I also have another WIP that is even older. I haven't touched that since 1987. Rach time I touch it I have to do 200 stitches. I hope to make it to the end of the year doing this. I like trying projects like that. Your Gilmore Girls project turned out great. It was fun to think of the episode that each one came from. Hope you had fun at your retreat in Canada!!

I have been itching to try a blackwork and I started one last night. It is only a book mark and I think I should be able to finish it today. Hello there!! It is so nice to see a video of yours today. Will give you a brief update of my life. I have Cerebral Palsy and am mobile but do fall with no warning. I also work from home. On the morning of November 29th I was getting up to work and I fell and knew I was hurt. I use a walker regularly and was not able to put too much weight on my left leg. Went to the ER and they said I broke my fibula and they had a trauma surgeon look at it and they said it did not require surgery. They admitted me though to get me some Physical Therapy. On December 4th I was transitioned into a Skilled Nursing Facility to become stronger. I was going to see my orthopedic surgeon who has operated on my in the past. She said that the person that looked at my xrays was a hand surgeon and not a foot doctor and I needed surgery and would have it on December 13th. I did that and went back to the SNF. I was to be released to go home on 12/29 and I fell while completing my final PT on 12/28. I hurt my right leg and thought it was broke. They had it xrayed and it was not broke, just really sore. On 12/31 I was diagnosed with COVID. I finally made it home today!! I havent been home since 11/29 and is a treat to see your recent Flosstube. Sorry for the long explanation--but I had to share my crazy December. Hope you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

I think sometimes the dye used can shrink/tighten the weave up. I want to stitch on higher counts but it is such a strain on my eyes some days. The Sleepy Hollow is looking great!

The fabric on Sleepy Hollow looks so good! Definitely can understand the blue versus red, there’s a reason I stick with Aida LOL. I can’t see any of that haha

So much progress on your projects! The MFE piece is looking especially lovely. I was really struck by your phrasing as a spot of grief. I don’t think it looks out of place knowing your reasons behind it

Hello there, It was fun to see your WIPs. I have been trying to knock down my WIPs. I am doing monogamous stitching until I can get some things cleaned out. Right now I'm saying that. With my lack of willpower, I'll once again be jumping between projects and not getting anything completed. Happy stitching!!
