I understand how you feel when you hear him sing live haha. He really sings live, background music is smaller and he won't sing. You can rest assured because Baekhyun has never lip-synced to his solo songs. Baekhyun's usual live singing habits are that at the end, he will leave a backtrack for the chorus, and he will sing 1 tone higher to run notes like "higher, deeper, tell me ant good to ya"... So you will hear 2 voices, his voice (higher) and backtrack voice. Parts like "just bit a slice of me" also have a backtrack, because it is the chorus so it needs thickness to create a good part for the song, he will sing it, but you won't hear 2 voices because he sings in the same tone. Candy is a song with a stronger choreography than Pineapple slice and he still sings it at music shows, he cracked his voice on the high note because he had a stomachache that day, you wouldn't know he was actually singing live if you didn't hear him crack his voice. And Baekhyun is a professional singer, he's been singing for 13 years with the intensity of singing and dancing, plus he also takes vocal classes early in the morning, so he controls his breathing very well. You should watch the live performance on It’s Live. Just him and a live band. No dancing to speak of but the vocals!! And he still manages to look sexy. The thing about most music shows is they want to broadcast perfect, studio-quality vocals for entertainment purposes, and nobody, not even EXO, can dance that hard and not lose some quality. It is what it is. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Его голос и вокальные приёмы всегда разные, минуса в песне тоже меняются и даже в припеве в начале и в середине звучание отличается. Dreamcatcher have the best backup dancers in the business. The dancers are led by Dreamcatcher's Performance Director. Hwang Sooyeon, and her two assistants. They created the choreo so can easily step in whenever needed if a member is missing. One of them replaced Handong in the Scream MV when she was stuck in China during the Covid pandemic.

For the souls swallowed by the abyss of malevolence. Justice is part two of a two-part series, the first one is OOTD, which sounds very differently. Just like ymenehcra for OOTD, an account named 9mynameis1 has been posting messages before the comeback. She posted that her seven friends became obsessed with the crown and have not been responding anymore, which corresponds with the secret diary Siyeon (our powerhouse main vocal, also known as Wolfie) is reading. The text there reads "How are you? I'm worried because you aren't replying." So what we are seeing here is the seven friends (Dreamcatcher) getting rid of their obsession with the crown (materialism, narcicism) by literally destroying it, which makes their friend rejoin them (there is an eighth person joining them near the end). There is also a lot of imagery about death and legendary figures like Valkyries or greek goddesses and legends. Reddit user PaintMeYaBasic has managed to identify these paintings in the MV: Hero by Edward Burne-Jones (from the tale of Hero and Leander), Valkyrie and a Dying Hero by Hans Makart, Hero and Leander by Salvator Rosa and finally "Justice" by Kenyon Cox in the center back. In the tale of Hero and Leander from Greek mythology, Hero is actually a priestess of Aphrodite (Venus in the Roman myths), so that is not the same as the hero who is taken from the battlefield by a Valkyrie in the other painting. But OOTD has the line "I'm Venus, Nephthys, call me a Goddess". It is likely there is a connection. While OOTD was about falling for the temptations of modern life and a satire on narcicism (especially influencers and fast fashion), I believe Justice is telling us to fight those temptations for a better world. It is a call to become a warrior for good in the world and fight the materialism that seems to be the most important thing for many people in the developed countries. You can see JiU break the bonds that hold her down, and we should do the same. Please not that this is just my interpretation. Art can be interpreted in different ways, and other opinions are just as valid as mine. There are also many references to their older MVs in this. The paintings also have a deeper meaning in Chase me, there is a sword in Deja Vu and Scream, the bite into the apple is a callback to BEcause and the tree to the Dystopia trilogy - and so on. There are many more. The 8th figure in the end could also be JiU from Deja Vu, finally breaking the cycle of violence and providing justice. Musically, I love the song. The guitars in the pre-chorus and chorus are pure heaven (just like Dongie with her wings). It has the right amount of heaviness for me, and it is an anthem and a call to action. I also love that they shortened the pre-chorus by two bars in the second half, throwing us into the chorus early. Justice is a brilliant, epic release, showing everyone that a group can still produce fantastic music and MVs after seven and a half years. I can't help it, I deeply respect these ladies and their whole team.
