Thank you for these videos. I have loud tinnitus in my entire head & nothing has helped. Just found your videos & they are very healing. Noise in my head greatly reduced. And as an added bonus, these sounds are reminiscent of my childhood. So many frogs singing most of the night. I will be playing some of your videos throughout the night. It will be a joy to hear nature again at night.

The screeching sounds are most likely those made by cicadas. They are large fly like insects that rub their wings together to produce sounds very similar to the ones heard in this video short. Oh, to have this back again. Windows open, curtains blowing in the night breeze. No worries, just innocent thoughts and dreams. No locked doors, no need. Just wanting life to be as blissful the night. I am so graceful I grew up when I did. Would not trade it for all this technology. No carrying cell phones, or plastic bottles of water, which wind up in oceans. If you were thristy, you found a hose or a water fountain (remember them?) I would not want to be young now, hopefully it will work put for them. I have no need to fly my car. Good luck to all you young whipper snappers.

I live out in the woods on family land right next to a pond with this sound every summer. My whole family was here way back in the 1800s til now. I think it's cool that the frog and cricket descendants of the pond are here from years ago and so are mine.

Wish I was there. Guess what? I am there. Blessed by God, angels, family. Can't sleep close enough though. Lol. I'll look at positive. At my age, the sound of the water....I have bathroom close. I can also adjust volume so my cat doesn't keep me up all night looking for said crickets, frogs, & water. Lol 1st time with a black screen. She perfers the visual so she can swipe at the birds, squirrels, etc. without harm in her previous home with a yard. Beautiful yard. Thank you guys. Never really understood “seasonal depression” until very recently this winter. I didn’t understand fully why I’ve been feeling so down, as I loved the wintertime growing up. Suppose getting older makes it a lot harder to enjoy the little things in life, eh? But I think part of me feeling so down is due to missing what it’s like on a summer night; I love to hear the mourning doves coo into the late evening, then hear the sounds of crickets, toads, and other little critters chirping all night long. Reminds me how full of life the night is, you know? I hope anyone else on this video, or just anyone else in general, really, is having a wonderful day or night! Sleep well :)
