Hey bro, I have built about 4 hard tails so far , but I cannot find a paint for the life of me that will stay good on the engine, I have thought about powder coating the jugs but I’d much rather use your method. What paint did you use if you don’t mind me asking.
A beautiful bike totally ruined . Why would anyone want to do that to such a wonderful looking bike .
Having ridden for 53 years, there is no way in hell I would eliminate rear suspension from a bike for looks. A hard tail is a kidney and back destroyer. Even my old 46 knuckle has suspension in the seat post. You went from a functional bike to one that can only be ridden for short trips. Those little springs on the seat aren’t even as good as 1946 technology. That’s why they make soft tails.
Yeah, if you want comfort but keeping the looks; a soft tail frame is the one to go with.
It all looks so incredibly simple and easy :D
