Did you drag the photo onto the executable? You don't double click on the executable to open it.

I did everything the same but when i enter exiftool in the cmd it says it's not recognised as an internal or external command... do you know what could be the problem? thanks in advance
Hi there. Did you rename the file to "exiftool.exe" and copy it to the windows root directory? If so, it should be recognised in the command prompt.

@EricBalcon this video is really just showing the basic way of viewing metadata information using Exiftool. If you want to edit the metadata, I would recommend reading the advanced method: sitecam.io/understanding-photo-metadata/#Advanced_View_and_Edit and also looking at the Exiftool forum where there are many commands you can use: exiftool.org/forum

YES. BUT how to fucking delete the metadata?
@Kirmm you can delete metadata easily in Windows by right clicking file > Properties > Details tab, then clicking on "Remove Properties and Personal Information" button at the bottom of the screen. If you are familiar with Exiftool, you can use the following command to strip all metadata from a file/folder. "exiftool -all= <file path>"

Hi there. The title, tag and subject fields are normally available in JPEG files. Are you perhaps looking at another image format like PNG?
