I hate this map. I especially hate maps where I'm playing against a time limit.

I use pervasive for all tier 4 levels and the formicarium bcuz free ants and it saves my food for more pervasives

Conclusion: vigorous and pervasive cannot be compared in battle arena

like slave makers,black ants and leafcutter media there good at nothing but also bad at nothing i'd call it that and just other ants just have way more value then those 3

In general, driver ants are way more powerful. 1 lvl1 driver ant major can almost solo a lvl3 army ant major, the media can beat twice as many army ants as themselves despite only being twice as expensive, and driver ant majors are way cheaper. Basically driver ants are better in every way unless there are a significant number of army ant majors, which you could say about pretty much any other ant. Also in terms of enemy difficulty in the levels they appear in, there are WAY more driver ants than there are army ants, despite matabele and leafcutters being roughly equal in strength. So most of the time, driver ants win, but if allowed the time and food to grow their army enough, army ants win.

One big issue with the mortar girls is that if you watch closely you'll see a lot of shots landing on a dead enemy because their projectiles are so slow. The rapid fire girls however don't waste that many shots on dead targets because their projectiles are faster.

Just to answer that question about the medic bug: Yes, it is a bug. The medics are trying to pick-up a body that was devoured by a lizard/mantis.

I would put the driver ant majors higher as they can nearly kill a leaf cutter major (Taunt) and there damage is super good and when they get to low health they have a knock back and can stun multiple enemies

Good tip: Always pick fast responder, cuz 30 anethetist vs. 30 fast responder = fast responder win, also same with power 2 and 3.

Amazing breakdown, here's some areas I'd push back on or adjust: The list is very top heavy; it isn't super clear in each tier how ants stack up against their own tier. Still, based on your breakdown: 1) Add s+ or x, or just move some ants down. Simpler to add at this point, but it isn't just fire ants in x. I think medics and termite majors have a place there, and termite minors could be moved up to s at that point. Confuse is crazy strong, though not as strong as infinite attack speed boost (T Major), doubling ant types (Medic), or the sheer cost effectiveness of fire ants (especially vigorous). 2) Workers feel really weird on the list, hard to place. You could kind of say the same for combat support (mortar and wood soldiers), but at least their main focus is still fighting. If termite workers are better food gatherers than regular workers, I guess they could be s/x tier based on your argument that it's about their purpose? 3) Taunt leafcutter ant feels like it could be in S as best tank. Not in X, but low S whether X is added or not. I really love how the game makes a list like this so complicated! Are all scenarios weighted the same? How many of the ant are there? What tier are they? Are there other species or just the one? What are they fighting? Is it an open area or in a nest? Good stuff :D

Not a consideration here (since it’s just combat power) but the Eciton ants come in a constant and steady stream, while the Drivers raid in two large groups of them. If we saw these differences implemented in some way then maybe the Drivers would fair better, but yeah Leafcutter are insane to be able to push the Army back

The majors use the same strat as the little black ants. They are so cheap that no matter how many you use you never run out of food and can overwealm enemies just with shear numbers. In real life super major big headed ants only come to be when the colony is under big threat. So in game the devs want you to only use super major under threat of extermination and not for the sake of having them hence why they are so expensive. I do believe that the majors NEED a SERIOUS buff to bring them up from worker level to atleast black ant or fire ant level to make them worth while and so that 2 devils coach horse beetles can’t overpower them. Also if the devs do buff them bring them back to 40 food.
