Yes, Maverick is going strong - at full production at the moment and will launch two brand new Maverick 440's in January 2021. One Maverick 440 three-cabin and one Maverick 440 four cabin.

The electric panel, the water pumps, the water maker, the helm, the engine... all of it well made and well laid out. That would be a dream to maintain. Except... the galley. Ugg, what were they thinking? That layout is ridiculous. There has to be better configuration for that. That daybed in the front? Makes no sense to me.
Maverick is a semi-custom builder so you can choose your own galley layout and decor. There is also an option for a day-bed in the cockpit, as you like.

You don't feel like sponsoring me and my family I'm semi disabled family man looking for a way to guide my children in the real world instead of being seduced by the electronic media and use it to our advantage over being brainwashed we're in Western Australia and people over here will be holidaymakers here and will need toys like your beautiful boats so perfect for a small family the idea I have is too be a traveling advert for your company around aus and the other islands close by msg me here if you want but good luck to your family and company during these crazy times

In a following sea the water would simply wash past the stainless steal ladder if conditions get up. Although on a Maverick you can have any swim ladder that you prefer. Maverick catamarans are semi-custom to each customers exact requirements and we have installed an alternative swim ladder on request of one customer. This swim ladder stacked up into a compact format when stored like typical swim ladder you would find on a speed boat.

I've lost confidence in the Maverick product. What have they done to fix these issues? Why was this catamaran released to the customer in such a bad condition?

Hey, I know this boat :) The Maverick 440 is hands down the best boat we've seen thus far for a liveaboard cruiser.
As so many have said in the comments, beautiful vessel and they even praise the layout.... I wonder if any of them have been blue water sailing.... the Nav Station and radio placement is a joke. Are you suppose to stand on the stairs while using the radios? Or while plotting a course, checking the wind forecasts.... only bad thing, but a majorly bad thing is the Nav Station layout and placement. Maybe remove the daybed and install the Nav Station looking forward with seating and Auxiliary Controls.
Hi Steve, thank you for sharing your thoughts. On the Maverick 440 LANI in the video the VHF radio is by the stairs and the SSB radio is at the desk in the owners hulls. On the next Maverick under construction the position of the VHF is being moved to be closer to the Saloon doors; so you make a good point here and I believe the new position of VHF will work well as you will be able to operate the VHF from inside while being in arms length from the helm. The Maverick 400 FRISKY has a forward facing Nav Station in front of the galley. The hatch above the Nav station allows for the person on watch to easily check on the full sail plan. You can see a photo of this forward facing helm in this website link; www.maverick.life/gallery?lightbox=dataItem-jhkb5bvq Every Maverick is different and they are set up to an owners exact specifications. Many Maverick sailing couples choose to do their chart work & passage planning on the saloon table or using the desk in the owners hull and then do away with having a seat at the Nav Station. The Maverick 440 Air Power completed a full circumnavigation and two Atlantic crossings with a setup like this - so long range passage planning is possible in this way. The helm position of the Maverick is extremely well protected and can be 100% enclosed with a canvas cockpit enclosure and fixed bimini so watch keeping can also be done from the helm in bad weather. This lessens the need for the forward facing helm. Although you could have a forward facing helm on your Maverick 440 if you wanted one.
Yes, this particular Maverick 440 did complete a full circumnavigation from Cape Town to Cape Town, across the Atlantic, through Panama, and then across the Pacific. So they do bluewater cruising. Then also then completed a second crossing of the Atlantic. Following the circumnavigation, a new dashboard with the black background was installed and some minor changes to the instrument layout could have been performed then. As a semi-custom yacht, the owner can choose their own layout of instruments and their own layout of Nav Station. See older comments for more explanation on these possibilities.

Beautiful but to say "extremely light" at 12 ton for a 44? hat's a little bit if a stretch.
The idea is to reduce the static weight of the yacht with foam core hull construction & marine honeycomb & PVC foam core on interior modules. This allows for greater carrying capacity for creature comforts like a washer / dryer, dishwasher, Air Conditioning & Heating, etc.. As a cruising boat it is most important how she carries a payload and can still perform and sail great, the Maverick 440 draws another 10mm of water for each 246 kg of added weight.

Is it possible to have the anchor so it comes off the forward end of the trampoline?
Yes, this is possible. Maverick has made it this way for one owner by special request. All Maverick's are made Semi-Custom based on the customer requirements so every Maverick is different and unique. The logic to have the anchor set back is for better weight distribution while underway. Personally I find it very comfortable to drop the anchor and attach the bridle from this position, although it can be moved forward if required by a customer on a new build.
Yes, this is possible. It can be done during the construction of a Maverick by owners request. For example; The Maverick 440, named "Liberty" has the anchor set up this way to come off the forward end of the trampoline by owners request.
