How much do you smell when you laser wood using the purifier?

I received my laser pecker 4 today and the screw piece on the stand that screws into the laser pecker unit was not pre assembled and has some wobble when I tried to assemble it. Any ideas how that goes together properly?

3:06 yea… that’s not at all level. Not hating on this idea, but either the execution is flawed, which means this isn’t all that reliable.. the mug/tumbler is not even… or the laser pecker rotary tool itself is not balanced.

How do you use that module with LaserPecker Design Space? I put that module, but acts like a laser module. I mean the pen doesn’t up and down in order to draw

The Y cable should have had a 90 degree elbow on it. the connection to the LP4 with the Y cable hits the back wall of the enclosure if used.

Can’t wait to get mine. Definitely need a better filtration solution for my setup. Was hoping to have it already as i ordered a couple hours after the TH-cam live on it. Thanks for the video with measurements

Thanks for the info - Here's my experiences with my LP2 - I found simply lowering the bottom edge of the LPs shield to the highest point on the target, sets the LP's required height to the optimum focal point (without being too fussy about getting it right), when mounted atop it's motorised stand. This is born out by the fact that one can literally hand-hold the LP2 laser at any angle even upside down, whilst resting the shield against the target, even though it's supplied with an integrated magnetically attached right angle piece of metal that aides adjusting the laser to the optimum height, I've never once needed to use it. If one manually plays around with the focal height in between multiple engravings on the larger work pieces, I found adjusting the focal height slightly changed the way an identical design translates onto various different materials differently, with some pretty interesting results. Tip: Practice on blank postcards first slid in over your target, because it's way cheaper than screwing up multiple attempts on the final product, Simply adjust power and depth settings to the work piece after removing the card, leaving everything else the same... The focus dustance is the same as the height of the hood. Why not just always have the hood on and lower it to touch the material?

I just tried that with my LP4 and the IOS App. When I press the up or down button it just says "Support ist not connected" Am I missing something?

Is it safe to see the preview blue lights without the glasses to see where the writing and logo are going to go? Or how else are we supposed to know? Same with the red light? Newbie here trying to be safe. It has become very difficult for me to center it. Does the red dot need to be in the middle of the item or it does not matter?

Is that an Android device? The LP software on iOS will not readjust for landscape screens, only portrait. I contacted support and they said they do not have plans to update the software to provide for it which is, in my opinion, idiotic.

Michael, Hey, did you evern post the design for either the wood version or the 3D printer version?

Have you had problems with air assist ? My first and my replacement second laser unit air assist just packs in.

Is it me or why do these people talk forever to do something small? All of the extra talking ins't needed.

Is it possible to have different settings on the different items?

That scratches the surface, but a full tutorial is needed for those of us new to design space. A manual would be awesome. My IOS version of the software has a “cut” path, that is not mentioned here.

I've found out in a similar project that my printer wasnt really 90° but more like 88°, so not really on square...

It would be a wonderful feature if it actually worked on my LP4. I'm reluctant to contact LP and be without the unit. App and firmware are current.

What can we do if we don’t have a 3D printer? Do you sell those things to mount the blades with? This sounds like an option Laser Pecker should be making.
