EarthBound is my favorite game of all time, and I've beaten it probably dozens of times and played through countless randomizers, EarthBound ROM hacks, and personal challenges... but I don't think I'd ever have the patience for this. 10,000 resets literally made my jaw drop. This is AMAZING. Also, this is one of the greatest videos on this entire website. I absolutely LOVE your narration. I seriously got hyped any time you talked about characters surviving battles on 1hp or hitting crazy amounts of smash attacks. Amazing job, can't wait to see what you do next! I subscribed :) (P.S. not sure if you've done any other challenges yet, but if you are into ROM hacks, they have made a few where you are required to get through the game with one character only (as in, none of the other characters can ever join your party). As far as I've seen, the most difficult characters are Paula and Jeff. I've only ever done it with Ness because I don't have enough guts to do it with the others lol. But if you're interested, that might be another fun challenge run!)

Only was 97 off of the guessing thing at the end I have watched tons of different challenges before and I knew something like 1000 was normal so I guessed 10K since he seemed to be freaking out about it

Just on the Threed thing, apparently they wanted to call it Threek, like freak, but they changed it because they were worried people would read it Three K…. 😂 Great run though! I love this game but I’ve never actually put the time in to really master it… maybe you’ve inspired me!

I've done a minimal healing run for Earthbound on a SNES console, but this is more and seemingly not fun. Thankee!

This reminds me of how me and my boyfriend played this game for much longer than we should have because we did not know that hotels restored HP and PP, or how to call dad to save. Had no idea what butterflies did. We just kept dying and waking up at mom's house. I didn't know poo had a mirror attack until after we became robots, still don't really understand how it works. Didn't know what praying did. We literally never used PSI shield until it was absolutely necessary when we fought the last starmen. We had a lot of fun spending our Sundays taking turns playing this game together until our eyes felt like they were bleeding. 10/10.

I commend you for doing a run like this. I wouldn't do this. I've never reached lv. 99 on any character and would never sit and grind for that amount of time.

Something you didn't seem to realize was that you can move during the build up phase of Teleport Alpha. This actually lets you finish a teleport in tight areas that even Beta can't complete in!

My guess for how many attempt the end of the game run took, considering you said it took months and was longer than the whole game...3000 attempts.
