It's been 10 years this year and even though I'm not from Korea, I'm also a student, and knowing that so many innocent students died due to negligence and poor ship control is horrible. I never understood how the captain could leave among the first, he should have stayed there last, he should have been in prison longer. Such tragedies must never be forgotten. And honestly this song will be a reminder of that for as long as people know the story of the event

What if there was no modification? What if the appropriate dosage was maintained? What if an evacuation announcement was made? What if the country responded well without making mistakes? What if news reporters didn’t publish false news? What if all the bad people who are not punished now were punished? I can't imagine how unfair and bitter he must have felt even after he died. If we had handled it better, we could have reduced the number of deaths.

I also lost a family member before. Yes it is very painful but i think it really hits when you realise that you will never see them again. You will never be able to hug them, you will never be able to see their smile again, you will never be able to hear their voice again. That just hits hard

I am never moving on from this. It was so painful to watch their videos, how desperate they were, how desperately they wanted to live but couldn't just because of the mistakes of the adults. Today's 1st April and it hurts even more. Ten years- ten years have passed but still haunts to think that they were waiting, they were waiting with a hope that someone would come and save them. They trusted the adults but no one cared to release an order, If they had released one single order of asking them to leave, today they would we alive. It hurts so bad.

They didnt deserved this they died at the young age they recorded everything they were banging on the windows all they did was watched as the boat sank with the students fear in there face saying (I DONT WANNA DIE! I DONT WANNA DIE!)this was so messed up they deserve better than this they all would of had families jobs by now its sad they missed there graduation to but now there up in heaven happy healthy they will always be remembered to Korean culture fly high rest in peace

I saw in an interview of a parent who lost their child saying " i told her to follow the instructions of the captain and that was my biggest regret " that darn captain could'nt even imagine the pain of those little souls who went to have fun in a school trip and the parents who just wanted their kids back home safely .......Even in the last moment that captain told them to stay where they were and escaped throwing his uniform so the rescuers would not recognize him ....Litreally so disgusted in that captain....those precious souls were trying to break the windows so that they can live...This disaster had been born of greed and negligence and because of that so many people died .....what can be more heartbreaking than this ......Greed won humanity died
