The Meeks were inspired by Young Life ministries to create a home where God could be glorified and the wonder of childhood preserved. Renovation on the Meeks’ house was constructed by Johnny Cargill and architect Jack Jenkins with the idea that every room should be an adventure. The interior design was expertly crafted by Leslie Wolfe of Benton Parker Design.

Another beautiful home with so many beautiful historic details but it’s really dated and in need of re-design. I think people really struggle with thinking every personal item they own must be on display. There is also an imminent need to understand white space which helps highlight significant pieces. There is a psychology to design and the feelings drawn from each space. Decorating is not designing. There are significant differences. She has really nice items that are being overwhelmed from lack of proper scaling and just having too many items. Lighting is also imperative.
This lady clearly has some beautiful pieces and the natural light and home itself is just lovely. There are however, many things that should be remediated to be able to mark this home as designer finished. Scale of items, placement of items, blending of vintage & modern to prevent dating the project, Hanging art at correct levels and unobstructed, design principles that have not been incorporated that make a significant impact. Such a beautiful home but it needs redress.

Es la lamentable falta de identidad de estos Paraguayos. La Paraguaya que habla tiene una horrible pronunciación de la letra "r", y es todo muy ostentoso y absurdo
¿A qué consideras falta de identidad? A su forma de hablar, quizás? El castellano es un idioma altamente diversificado, en cada rincón del mundo se habla distinto el castellano, Paraguay no es una excepción. Hay miles de modismos en Py, y ninguno es superior o inferior al otro, su dialecto es excelente, para nada criticable, al contrario, es de admirar la forma en la que se expresa. La identidad cultural va mucho más allá de los objetos que tengas o no en tu casa, sino la aceptación y el cumplimiento de los valores culturales que actúan como soportes y referentes para preservar el orden de la sociedad. La identidad paraguaya se caracteriza por su gente alegre, solidaria y llena de encanto, Tere Codas tiene todo eso; así que no se a qué le llamas falta de identidad. Antes de opinar, tenes que conocer realmente a la persona.
