Hey Now, your Enemy here.. I like these figures. They do need some paint wash & possibly some added paint detail to make them less “plastic-y”. It’s a shame he has a weapon attached that can’t be taken out of its sheath, that’s always a bad idea. They need some adversaries to go against … bring on the enemies ;)

It looks cool. I am not familiar with this game. He looks like he could be in Fortnite with that design too.

R5-D4 is a pivotal droid in Star Wars by default. It was the droid Luke bought from the Jawas along with C-3PO, momentarily leaving R2-D2 behind… luckily the plot stepped in and ignited its “bad motivator”, so 3PO suggested to Luke that R2-D2 might be a smarter choice. Phew says the galaxy! Later he was of course sold to Pedro Pascal. As a kid I was intrigued that R5-D4 is referred to as “red” while R2 is referred to as “blue”. Like I get that they each have key accents in those colours, but it’s hardly the dominant colour… Also I can identify at least 3 of the attachable/detachable arm doodads: its mainframe interface thingy, claw grabby thingy and electrozappy thingy. Technically.

I hope Four Horsemen do their own Horus or Ra, because their Anubis is fantastic.

I dont think you shouldn't reach out to companies. Its just that bigger companies tend to not care and they already have pre selected people to give out their product strategically. Smaller companies and indie are usually more receptive and interested.

Cool set. I only saw it once in person but didn’t get it. I have an older version of the r5 droid and the Christmas version of the smallest droid.

Great set, if it goes on sale I will get a second, can never have enough droids.

Interesting battle strategy, because I would find it very difficult to remember to defend myself against a big shiny mandroid the colour of bubblegum, strawberry pudding and/or the Barbie aisle. I would just want to giggle and try on clothes.

That’s very lucky of you getting the WWD T-Rex figure, I don’t have any knowledge of getting figures from Kickstarter and after watching reviews of the Tyrannosaur figures, they can be pricy and the extra legs are issues for me. I’d prefer waiting for new feet joints, new neck joints and lesser price like say the Allosaurus which I want to get if I have enough money.

The wiffle scoop-em-up board is actually a cricket bat ... you get to see him use it in the 1990 TMNT movie against Raph.

I think the face sculpt is a pretty good realistic blend of how he was drawn in the Mirage comics by different artists

I have absolutely zero problem with Casey Jones in sweatpants. Elias Koteas in sweatpants in the classic TMNT movie was… an awakening 🐢

Boy did you ever, you had your hands all over his abs ;) Casey is indeed a hooligan type but he has a heart of gold, beating on bad guys only. You’re safe with him. I really like the clothing here, the sweat pants look like the 1/2 dozen I myself wear. You sweat when fighting crime! Great accessories too, I need to open my Mezco box very soon.

Ur so lucky u got the walking with dinosaurs coloration t-rex it was only around for a little bit since it was exclusive and is now really expensive on ebay

Hello, your Enemy here. I think the gold choice is best due to how the ancient Egyptians loved using gold. It fits the era. The darker color is good so as not to be just a copy of Anubis. You probably like lighter colors because you’re good & I like the darker because I’m evil ;)

Spin Master really stepped up their game for this line, they also made figures for League of Legends but.. those were quite bad so the line kinda died after a while, About the faceplates, the artist who worked on the sculpting said in an interview they had to keep her ears on her head to keep the plastic thick enough to make space for the balljoint plus they would break easily, small sacrifices

Spin Masters could just do a line of Horizon figures and I would be a happy guy. I fell in love with this game when I first played it a couple years ago, and I've played it a good 5-6 times between the two games. Can't wait for the third! I even picked up the official Horizon cookbook, it's great! I would LOVE if Spin Master did some of the machines from the games. Sunwing would be obvious, but I'll buy like 5 Watchers! Here's hoping the line does well beyond Aloy, Kratos, and Atreus. I'm hoping for Erend!

Yes swappable faces and articulated hair! I will take every opportunity to dig at Mafex for stubbornly avoiding them for years! Don't take samples personally. Your channel has character and nuance, and companies pretty much just want "it's so sick, very wow!" in as many feeds as possible. Aces review!

I wouldn’t say spinmaster is bad. They make toys for kids. Meant to be played with and not just for show. I don’t play video games so don’t this character but the figure looks cool.

Friendly neighborhood enemy here, I very much enjoyed this review you did. It’s nice to see a fan of the source material speak on it. I don’t know anything about the game but I want this figure for two reasons.. 1) My girlfriend is a lovely petite redhead & that makes me like this figure. 2) This figure looks great, the hair articulation is such a cool feature. Other companies need to implement the use. Imagine how much better She-Hulk’s huge mane of hair would be if it could move so the head could move freely as well.

I never heard of the game, much less played it (no Playstation), but this figure seemed pretty promising, so I preordered it. I have similar critiques about the facepaint, but not for the exact same reasons. I'd rather have them all be natural with those freckles. Besides that though, the sculpting on them are fantastic. I did end up heating the faceplates to shape them better, and all her hands to get that initial breakage from the factory. Those hands do seem to have large detents.

I love Horizon too! Aloy is such an amazing character! Awesome review and the first I saw where the Reviewer actually played the game. Who is your favorite character from the games!
