Womier Retro M87 | Gateron Oil Kings V2
Modding my Maplestory keyboard to switch to pre-lubed Gateron oil kings v2. I didn't bother adding any other mods since I'll pretty much only be using this for Maplestory.

Lego Porche 911 With LED Lights (Full Build)
มุมมอง 19910 หลายเดือนก่อน
A satisfying quick cut video of the full build process of the Porche 911 Lego set. There are 1458 pieces, I filmed each piece getting added to the car. It was a long and arduous process, you can tell by me huffin n puffin throughout the video. I tried to cut out as much of it as possible, but it's tiring building a car... even if it's a Lego set. Hope ya'll enjoy. Socials: - Instagram: dannyluz...

The boys take on the 10 wing challenge from Hot Ones Season 20 and it was a terrible idea. Don't do this, and don't buy the hot sauces. It's a waste of money and a waste of time. All they do is inflict pain on people and anyone that wants to try this is a masochist. Save yourself the trouble and watch this video instead of trying it yourselves. Split Keyboard Build ft. Haimu Heartbeat Silent Linear Switches
มุมมอง 876ปีที่แล้ว
In this video I mod do a silent mod on a Kinesis Freestyle Edge RGB. The switches I'm going to use are the Haimu Heartbeat Silent linear switches. At first I didn't really know what to expect from these silent switches, but I was shocked on how quiet they are. I had to bump up the gain to capture the sound for the sound test portion of the video. They feel really good to type on and truly are q...

Modding My Kinesis FreeStyle Pro 2 Split Keyboard With Tangerine v2 Linear Switches

Modding my Kinesis FreeStyle Pro split keyboard that I use for work. This keyboard is a little too loud for an office setting and the typing experience isn't that great. As an software engineer I'm using my keyboard all day so I wanted to mod this keyboard to improve my overall satisfaction with typing on this keyboard and to not annoy my coworkers with the loud stock MX brown switches. All White Zuoya GMK67 Build | Zealio V2 Switches

In this video I build an all white mechanical keyboard with tactile switches from Gateron (Zealio V2) on a Zuoya GMK67 board. The board comes with a bunch of foam and switch pads to dampen noise. I skipped the holee mod and tape mod to keep the board a little more noisy (keeping the click clack on this one). Building My First Alice Layout Keyboard | Akko Yellow Cream, Keychron Keycaps, Feker Alice 80

In this video I'll be assembling my first alice layout keyboard from Feker. I'll be using linear switches from Akko (yellow creams) and the hacker mint double shot PBT keycaps from Keychron. I decided not to do the foam mod since there's so much noise dampening material in the board already and I decided to forego the holee mod as well because I got lazy and didn't want to do it. Modding My Keychron Q2 with Boba U4T Tactile Switches
You are, quite literally, my hero. Christmas is TWO DAYS AWAY, and my son's Blue Yeti pins just break. He's had in a year and a half, and it started working intermittently 2 days ago. I won't be able to fix it before Christmas, but thanks to you, I WILL be able to fix it!
get this man more likes seriously tho, great content my dude
very nice soundtrack. Could listen to this video all the time.
U paying more taxes than the doctor that makes 75k a month . System is rigged
I'm new to both custom keyboards and topre, I built my first custom board (mx based) earlier this year and lubing mx switches looks like too much of a pain for me to want to bother with. I quickly got interested in topre boards and now I'm looking into lube and other mods just out of curiosity. I'm shocked at how much easier it looks to lube topre than mx.
Yeah the Topre switch housing is just more forgiving for lubing, it doesn't require much dexterity and precision like MX style switches
I got a second hand Leopold board so I could swap its English/Korean keycaps on to my HHKB. I was gunna gift the Leopold to my brother but its stabilizer keys sounded horrible compared to the rest of the board. Yesterday I did a lube test run on my HHKB and it was a breeze! I don't think the difference is that great on this board in particular, but thanks for the confidence man! Can't wait to fix up the Leopold.
Dang buying a new keyboard isn't cheaper?
Definitely can be
Very nice! How much do you charge for this?
$25 per hour for the build + cost of materials. It typically takes 3-4 hrs on average, but that depends on how complicated the build is.
Respect 🩷 another way of understanding the proper way of lubing thank you
Yeah, if you want to have fun for a long time with your system, don't use the swiffer dust fairy. you create static and this damages your system. If you are lucky, this kills only your RAM stick and that is the cheapest component in your system you can replace. Using only the blower is fine. About your dust build up, yeah, it would properly fine like that. Usually my r630 looks way worse after only 6 months of use, but mine is hanging on the wall in my basement that has no windows, only bars and a trap door. Clearly not an ideal environment. The temperature ranges from 6°C to 35°C and the humidity is always more or less outside humidity.
This is a business level server. Tbh overkill but also NICE!
What mount is it?
Daily basic
Why did you clip those stems on the switches?
When a switch bottoms out, it can press up against the PCB causing rattling and add unwanted noise. Clipping the bottoms of the stems reduces that.
What jobs did you have prior to Amazon? What would you recommend for me who’s doing a boot camp through Triple ten? Thank you in advance 🫡
Amazon is my first job out of college. My prior jobs were student jobs. Write a good resume, grind Leetcode, and make sure your portfolio has good projects on it. If you don't have any projects, start some to bolster your resume and practice your programming skills.
@@dannylu7235 sounds good. I appreciate you and your channel. Good luck with everything 🙏🏽🫡
any idea how the oil kings v2 compare to the moon v2s?
Unfortunately I'm unfamiliar with the moon v2s, but tbh my video doesn't really do the oil kings justice, they would sound a lot better on a better board.
also if i solder it and the solder that holds the 5 pins all connects, will it still work or does the solder on each pin have to be seperate
separate
does the solder have to have lead in it
this will be easy for someone who has no experience in soldering right?
yes, very easy
You committed a war crime. How dare you make this video instead of continuing to give your dog attention. You are a terrible person jk. Love the vid, very helpful
worth it, nice job on the mod
Fav leadership principle?
oh man, did you really unsolder all those keys?
I really did
So what is the resume that got you your software engineering job? You just gave resume tips....
It's the second link in the description. This is a good point tho I probably should've mentioned that 😅
thorough video and congrats on first sponsorship bro :)

what's that laptop-like device you're using to control your server? it looks really nice.
It's a foldable monitor/keyboard console that can be mounted on a server rack. People normally can just use any regular monitor and keyboard but this is a more sleek solution
I was kinda bummed to learn that I need to desolder the switches to get them out on this keyboard. Thanks for the vid - I need to replace a flakey mx cherry switch and this is gonna be useful.
I feel your pain, opening a keyboard and seeing the soldering is always a disappointment🥲. Glad you found it helpful.
7:45 What application do you use for port forwarding?
It's a port forwarding app offered by my internet service provider (Xfinity). Not sure if other services provide this. If not editing your internet configs using the IP address in the web browser is the way to go.
Coming from just starting a game and inviting your friends to join on your game, how much of a performance difference is there for the players on the dedicated server? Can you be in a large building or city without seeing massive fps dips?
When I built this server, we had roughly 20ish people playing concurrently. I haven't tried hosting that many people with the "join your game" feature. I will say though the waves of zombies later in the game like day 28th and onwards can get laggy even with the dedicated server (partially my fault since I edited the server configs to support more enemies due to the sheer number of people we had). If you're playing with a handful of people (less than 4) then the "join my game" feature should be good. I mainly just built the server so folks can log in whenever they want without me having to be on.

love the ? album
Had to display it for the culture
This Lubing that is new for me. I have Razer Huntsman V2 TKL do i need to do that later?
I don't believe you can disassemble the huntsman's optical switches like the regular ones found in the video, I wouldn't go through with it's not really worth the effort. I'm also 90% sure it removes the warranty you have on it so don't do anything unless you don't care whether or not you break it. If you want to get into Keyboard modding you should look into the Keychron Q1 or the Keychron V1, those boards are made to be disassembled, especially considering they're hotswap so you won't have to do any soldering.
@@daalah6074 You think i can open it up to put iron plates in it, then I do magnets on the wrist rest hahahah
actually i have everything to create a server , only the router problem ( port forwarding) is stopping me to create servers
That's always the toughest part for some reason. Luckily my ISP offers a port forwarding app, but doing it manually via IP address and web browser can get confusing
soldered....that is a joke we live in the 21st century!
that keyboard was made in 2010
Agreed

What is a work from home cafe?
I guess it's some tiktok trend or something. Someone hosts a cafe at their place to create a cafe setting for friends to work instead of strangers
Apparently it's a get together where everyone does everything except work.
Not gonna lie, I felt like working in an environment like this actually forced me to be more productive because I didn't want to look like I was slacking off 😂 @@danielberry9610
i clicked on this video thinking it had like a million views. i accidently skipped around to the part where u were using a glizzy as a straw and was SO confused. good video anyways tho LMAO
Glad you enjoyed

Good idea!
I’m a fan
Thank you for hosting us!
well edited and enjoyed the whole thing :)
Thank you Brother
The Glizzy straw goes hard
no pun intended
well, can I lube it without taking all the switches apart, even if I don't get the same result
Unfortunately you're gonna want to take all the switches apart. The high contact areas of the switch are internal, so I don't think there's any way around it.
I feel like my stock switches are hard to push and give me pain in my fingers (which I didn't have before switching keyboard) but the rest of the keyboard helped so much. ugh ergonomics are a pain
Yeah too bad they don't offer different actuation force options for their keys
Why does this look so difficult to do 😢
Honestly it's not too difficult, but it does take a while to get done
hmmmm I would use something like a Firewall in between of your switch and your router. also, where did u got that dell server from? Also if you want the server to use mainly as a minecraft server, I would put the server.jar file as a service you know? so that it automaticaly starts the server once the server boots up
