Let me start with saying thanks for stopping by and visiting again. This video is a little long for what the build should be but I was having a few problems filming and building at the same time. I skipped a few steps and procedures to try to keep it interesting. This build was easy and hard at the same time. I had no plans or measurements to reference. The numbers I came up with are what would...

So I'm taking a couple of days off from the out-feed table to finish a side project I have been neglecting for while. I have been planning on making some chairs and or benches for my fire pit and now seemed like the good time. The planters are all complete (somewhat) and Ill show those on the next video. In the next the part Ill be completing the benches that will be stretching between the plan...

Acoustic tile contains asbestos you should be wearing a mask
That's the way I've done ceiling tile repairs with one small difference. Instead of drywall screws, I use white vinyl siding trim nails, then caulk over them. Great video.
Muchas gracias Your video make my job easier God bless
Very help full thank you so much
Video helps a lot my man I just booked a job today I’m watching this on the way to go do it now lol 😂. Thank you thank you!!!! I was wondering how I was going to get the tiles supported in place cause stapling seemed impossible on a repair for just a few tiles. I have just 6 tiles to do.
How yo remove them ?
Thank you for this video. My concern is that within a renovation property, one ceiling in a bedroom has completely fallen- to where less than 10 tiles are still in place. I had a blue tarp put over it because it looks a little alarming. In another room, it's like this in your video; just a handful of tiles are missing in that room. The renovation was stalled because I had no clue what to do. Your video has given me the solution. Best to you & yours. 👍
I had just looked at a box of ceiling tiles at Lowe's today because my older ceiling Looked as though it used like a Slide in method I really like this exactly the same type tiles that I looked at today And they I like this so much better than Anything They have produced that is new the drop Fancy looking ceilings They try to make I just do not in my opinion do not like them It doesn't look like something that should be on a ceiling The the ceilings that they're coming out with now looks like something that should be on a wall In my opinion I love this kind of ceiling
Does fnha promise to not contain asphedtos??
Yours was the best video on this I found thanks a lot
That's cool of you to say, I really appreciate that and I'm glad it helped 😀
Thank you for your video. It helped me replace a ceiling tile that got pushed out in our rec room.
Thank you! I had been looking at how to repair/install “sand pebble” tiles in my basement and I think this is it!
Been looking for a way to do this for years..... Thank you so much for helping a fellow diy guy.
These tile are the worse tiles I ever worked with. I am replacing my whole basement ceiling with drop ceiling is a lot easier and looks better than these tiles. But the video was helpful for the one chooses these tiles.
aw hell! didn't even know WHAT to call my crappy tile ceiling! thanks :)
I really like this type ceiling better than this new crap they've come out with to me this just looks so much better
GOD BLESS THIS MAN.
Thank you Manny. Very helpful.
Great video brother. I’m going to give this a shot this weekend.
Thank you! Did 5 of them and all looked like 💩
thats great but what about taking them out and reusing them? I have older ones that don't have replacements and need to reinstall after removing them. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
Ughhh I've been searching for 2 years for a video like this 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 Prior owners finished my basement ceiling & used just staple on tiles. While it's completely stunning a couple cracked & needed to be removed. We searched everywhere & could not for the life of me figure out how they did it & what tiles they used. We almost had to take the whole thing down & start over or just leave a piece open which I don't want. This helped a lot thanks.
All you need is a steel brush bit and use a drill to clean out the rust in the holes
We put ceiling tiles in in 1973 i was 10. Im 60 now and have to remove tiles from a closet to match our dining room. Ive got 9 to work with and I need 6 so heres hoping we can do it.
Quick tip, keep the machine running while you're retracting the cable, this will make it easier to pull the cable out of the drain line.
Absolutely, great tip!
I personally will screw a 3/4 by one wood at the bean and glue the tile to it
This is brilliant
Thank you
Thank you !! This was a big help!!!😊
Are the 1gen pilot running board fit 2gen ?
Thanks for sharing brother! I bought the same thing on Amazon for our Pilot! Thank you!
Thank you for this. How do you peel off tiles someone stuck up with liquid nails
I would use a paint scaper for that. The glue might not come off entirely so maybe an orbital sander would work. Use eye, ear and dust protection, those things are messy. Good luck and thanks for watching.
@manny7155 thanks for taking the time to reply Manny. I wonder it there's a spackle product that might be easier to fix that issue. Like German schmear. 😃
thank you!
Thankyou great video and work, with only 1 hand!
Manny you're a genius! I tried a brad nailer on the lowest setting and it wouldn't hold the tile. Brads blew right threw 😢
Working in a hospital as an engineer. I would you cut up paper clips and slide them into tiles to lock them in place . I would also slice the back of the tile and just leave the flange . But we are also working with metal t bar slides
good job just now I will put mine blessings
No way Lopez
Thanks for this video. I have a few of the same tiles to fix and this should work.
Great Video!!!!
Bro my ceiling in my bathroom same tiles got wet had a small leak fixed leak wanted to find out the easiest way of putting up new ceiling tiles and thanks for making this video helped a lot
I'm glad you got it done, thanks for watching 🫡
Huge value, thank you! Chuckled that you used Christina Applegates sign-off from Anchorman
Did u add screws for every tile
If only there were wooden joists above the tiles I’m trying to replace. I have a similar situation but the frame is hung from metal “joists” that are about 3 feet above the tile. I cut flanges in the bottom side of the tile, put liquid nails on them and glue them to the frame. Then I put small trim nails in the edges of the tile and shove them into the adjoining tile to hold them in place while the adhesive dries. Not my favorite repair but I can’t find anything else that works.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
It seems like the previous homeowner at my house didn’t catch your video before reinstalling ceiling tiles. I haven’t started yet, but your attitude makes it seem way easier than what I expected! thanks for the visual demo
Dont like the gap 👎
Excellent video- you are helping someone 6 years after you posted!! Thank you!
I sure appreciate this. Common sense tends to allude me at times! Thank you...perfect !!!
I just finished building mine. I found the plans on Pinterest and I believe if you bird dog it it takes you back to the Handiman article. I used swivel casters on mine but when I lean the cart back the wheels go whichever way making movement difficult. I am going to swap them out for stationary ones. The countersunk holes for the compressor is a good idea as I noticed right away the compressor tipped. As for the shelf It is prolly best to see how your reach is and adjust accordingly. It is a neat little cart that I researched through winter ‘22/‘23 and fun to build. I plan to modify it by adding a curved extension handle to pull it. This will allow me to put a curved plexiglass cover over the tool section. Then I am gonna add a couple side handle arm pockets for my nails or staples. In all a fun project. Next summer I plan to paint it.
That's ok...you put the caulk on it
