A Principle of Healing
In this video we explore a quotation from our beloved Christian Mystic Joel Goldsmith from his book Spiritual Healing. I offer both an interpretation of his quote and its practical application.

Steeped in Being (meditation)
มุมมอง 697 หลายเดือนก่อน
Context for this simple meditation: Our sentience is the infinite luminosity of God. By sentience I mean our capacity to sense, perceive, or be aware of anything at all. When we don’t use this sentience for any one thing, meaning, we aren’t trying to direct it, or influence it in any way, but rather rest in its luminosity we are abiding in God. By abiding in this light we become aware of its un...

In this video we explore the relationship between the our soul and the challenges we face as humans. On Fire for the Real (Talk)
มุมมอง 1819 หลายเดือนก่อน
A talk from the last Open Circle Center event. At some moment in time something was sparked in us, some kind of opening, knowing or inspiration which drew us to spiritual work. Even though we look back at these moments of inspiration as important turning points in our life, we generally miss the deeper message. That spark isn’t simply a moment of clarity or greater connection, but rather our ow...
Withstanding Adversity & Discovering Truth
มุมมอง 97ปีที่แล้ว
In this talk we look at how strength and the capacity to withstand difficult emotions and experiences comes out of our learning how to feel through less difficult ones. Inside each stuck feeling is a false narrative about who and what we are. By feeling through it clearly and directly we discover that we aren't the narrative but the space, peace and love which envelops it. Stopping at nothing t...
The Truth Behind Suffering
มุมมอง 173ปีที่แล้ว
In this talk we explore how the love of Truth is the only thing that can confront suffering for what it actually is. To genuinely face suffering is one way we discover and make contact with our Soul. By Soul we mean the part of us that is one with the Infinite, the part of us that is forever at peace. In this way suffering which is a profound limitation is a mirror for the infinity of our Soul....

Watching the dragonflies and the birds so effortlessly be what God intended for them. It’s all they know. So natural, so quiet, so beautiful their communion with God. I could be jealous or I can begin to learn what they already know.

I always thought it was my job to bring things into harmony in my life and felt guilty when things were not in their right place. What was I doing wrong was my question. Such a beautiful simplicity you’ve expressed here. Rest and relax in spirit and soften. I just love your expression that life is ALWAYS trying to bring us back into harmony. Helps to keep me from always trying to do the right thing. Resting and relaxing in spirit helps me to listen to the one who is so lovingly in charge and can easefully bring me back into harmony. ❤🙏

Thank you for this beautiful image of how to keep contacting what is alwaysTrue. Offering up the truth about where I am is always met with love and compassion and a remembrance of who I am, that same love and compassion. It has such a beautiful way of dissolving the falsehoods I get pulled into. The more I do this “coming forward” and acknowledging where I am, the less I experience shame and blame and regret. ❤

Julian, a humble bow and thanks for opening your heart for those of us who lose our way. And for helping us open wide our own hearts for all things that have lost their way, especially ourselves. Being certain I should be exactly where I am helps me be steadfast in what’s uncomfortable. You help me remember that the way to the home I never left is to fully be right where I am. I’m so grateful for every reminder of things I’ve forgotten, whether it’s through difficult experiences or through the kind and patient wisdom of others. 🙂

"the way to the home I never left is to fully be right where I am" beautifully articulated. Couldn't have said this better myself. Thank you for your kind and generous words. @@julianmisliuc ❤️😥🌈🙏 Was not all about me, some was hypothetical respectively knowing from other people what they went through. However I need support definitely. It is just not there. The system in itself is so retraumatizing that I got sicker and sicker and less able to flee the more I sought the support that was available. It completely destroyed my life. I haven't felt safe in many years.

This is a really clear and helpful offering. Thanks for posting this, Julian. I love your articulation of the elements of receptivity as not-knowing, openness, willingness, and engagement. It's cool to hear the nuance between willingness and engagement especially. I feel like often I'm just approaching emotions with openness alone, which is helpful but doesn't quite allow for flow and full expression.
