CRACKED Flexplate ?!!? How to Remove 24v Cummins Transmission - Dodge Ram 4x4
You caught me off guard with the Jesus message. Love it! Thank you for being a faithful servant. Also, thank you for the update on the new Tundra.
If he’s loaded he could have someone clear it off and start it up in the cold weather. I was a driver for really wealthy people for a long time. Good times!
It’s a sin leaving that truck out there in that weather.
Man time to go honda over toyota for next few years
Toyota must be on the dei kick!
It will be interesting to see how long the turbos last on that gas tundra. Google says turbos are good for around 150,000 miles. I bought the V8 tundra to avoid it. I was also put off by the looks of the new tundras they look more like street trucks.
I've owned three Tundras my current one I bought new it's a 2015 TRD off-road and I'm currently sitting at 416,000 miles ZERO issues my Tundra before that one had 304,000 on it again zero issues Toyota needs to stop chasing carbon credits and bring back the V8
“So dang slow” he says, Apparently he’s never attempted to pull a 40’ 5th Wheel toy hauler over a mountain pass with a 70s model Chevy, Dodge or Ford with a gasoline powered V8!! When Ford introduced the 7.3 power stroke, there was nothing like it in a loaded hard 6 % grade uphill pull offered by anyone else on the showroom floor. and sorry, Dodge Cummins (similarly equipped) of the same era in stock form would not pull side-by-side with a 7.3.
Ridiculous
The new TransTundra.
Excellent video my good sir! This will help me in the future for sure 👌
Precisely why I purchased a 2021.
Everybody’s having trouble with their turbo trucks Ford has always had trouble with their eco-boost. Those are $15,000 worth of maintenance guaranteed at 100,000 miles coolant fittings leaking at pull off your entire cab of your truck exhaust manifold needs to be replaced can phasers I would buy an electric vehicle before I buy a turbo vehicle.
Wow. great info but what a PITA. Love the scripture at the beginning.
16 minutes of Tundra talk, 50 seconds on scripture. And the 50 seconds of hope speech are what some entitled snowflakes are crying about 😂
That twin turbo needs Jesus!
🙏
Too bad people can't quit blabbing and get to the point.
Glad I purchased a new 2nd generation 2021 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro employing that bulletproof naturally aspirated 3UR-FE 5.7 liter V-8 engine and reliable 6 speed Aisan transmission
Any chance the electric motors are bad?
Nah, they worked every time to engage/ disengage the parking brake, just didn't want to go into service mode.
Just open the bleeder screw I use a long pair of needle nose to turn and press the caliper piston sometimes you got to tap that piston a couple times. I never had to remove that electronic piece
Decided to keep my 2020 TRD Pro instead of trading up for the 2022 Pro.
The new Toyotas are junk. After they got rid of their ceo Toyoda (Original owners grandson) they went cheap on all their parts. Transmissions are made in Thailand in a lot of these new ones also, including the Tacoma. All their GMs have been forced to step down so this new generation of owners can take over Toyota.
Who got rid of the CEO? Board members? Or did the CEO just agree to an enormous buyout like all the rest?
@mikehughes8023 It says he stepped down, there is no real explanation except that Toyotas vehicles were outdated and the person who ran Lexus wanted to take over and add all of this new tech. Well all of this new tech destroyed Toyotas reliability. Can you believe the Tundra is less reliable than a Ford and GM product now? Tacoma transmissions are blowing up before 10k miles too. Last gen Tundras and Tacomas were known to ALL reach 300k miles with minor maintenance. My wifes 2014 Camry has over 300k and runs great. We will never see those days anymore.
@@mikehughes8023the shareholders voted him out. They chose profit over reliability.
So do you turn the torx bolt back when you're done or do you just leave it as is?
Just leave it and the electric motor will adjust back in to position
Super helpful thanks so much!
Great Video as always ill will save this video for when my 22 tundra is due for brakes
Longtime Toyo owner with a Taco and tundra in the driveway. I would not recommend one past 2021. V8 and non turbo for me. They used to be great trucks.
Came for some facts about the tundra not bible punching. Imagine how insulted you would be if Your doctor went on an atheist rant and stupid you were for putting faith in an omnipotent being yet coming to him for a cure?
All you demons sound stupid af!😂. Keep trying tho😂
Or just skip to the stuff you want to hear like everyone else with common sense. Or…color me shocked…click on a different video?
Had an 08, solid truck. Water pump and Radiator @120k - oil changes synthetic @3k and change the brakes and rotors power stop around 60k. Changed the plugs - the back ones are very difficult. You gotta make sure they’re seated or you’ll get a tick. I have an F250 diesel if tundra came out with a diesel with decent numbers. Not the tiny Cummins like Nissan I’d buy one. My only gripe honestly, was the vehicle electronic controls auto breaking when you were turning.
My 2022 SR5 TRD off road is at 97K and still strong with no leaks
❤
God is a fairy tale ...one guy sitting in the sky that knows all , made the universe , made man , what a joke for simpleminds that accept fairy tales as truth .
The fool has said in his heart there is no God.
@@TiffanyBottomsHunter Thats right , just nature , we live we die ....no fairy tale ending .
@ Then what a surprise it will be to you in the day of judgement, when you have to explain yourself to God, not only realizing he is real, but now your life is over, and you must be judged.
@@TiffanyBottomsHunter Fairy tales .
@@TiffanyBottomsHunterdo you have proof? Do you go to the doctor or church when you are Ill?
Love your honesty. How things have changed, when someone is surprised a Toyota gets to 100k miles on the original engine.
I was considering suicide, but picked up my iPad and your channel came up, so I listened. Thank you for sharing that verse. I’m going to pray for Gods help. Thank you.
I lost my friend a month ago due to suicide. His wife was cheating on him. Now the two daughters go to therapy and the wife collected the life insurance and moved on. At work my supervisor did a ceremony for him, my peers didn’t wanted to honor him, and the next Monday was business as usual. Why do I say this? Because taking your life solves nothing for you and only hurts those who really love you. Give Jesus a chance, you will live with new purpose, and for ever.
I’ve seen new tundras well the 2022 I should say with over 150k miles no issues , just regular maintenance.
Amen!
Thanks for sharing, God bless
Paging Car Care Nut....Paging Car Care Nut... Brake Problem// Aisle 22!
@@mikejohnson9118 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🫡
or if you have the scan tool you can retract it with that too. But I doubt if you’re doing this DIY you have a scan tool.
My particular scan tool would not do it on this truck 🤷♂️
I always thought these e-brakes just had a motor pulling the cables like the hand/foot lever did. Crazy how this just creates more issues.
12v method worked for me on my 22. Truck off, ebrake disengaged. Just bump the motor with some juice and then press the piston into the caliper. No need to muck around with it like in this video. Super easy
Thank you
never understood the concept of electric parking brakes - what problem were they trying to fix?
It can be used to prevent the car from getting away from you. In my explorer when I open the door while in drive neutral or reverse the electric parking brake turns on preventing the car from rolling away on its own.
@@georgelin8498 aha, the stuff of fail videos, never occured to me, thanks
Thanks for starting your video with Scripture. Now I know who to never tune into.
Just skip forward, I’m not religious but if he wants to be, who cares?
Guess a righteous person who proclaims his faith must irritate your demon spirits huh?
You know we are in shit times when ppl get offended by a man openly citing scripture on a TH-cam video.
Thanks for giving him the engagement before you left 😂
Thank you bro
You're welcome! God bless
Huh on my lexus which has the same parking brake system, i just feed it 12v till it backs up all the way. Then you can compress the piston and do the brake job as normal. Viktor G Automotive on youtube has good videos, the videos name is "2016-2019 Lexus RX350 RX450h Electric Parking Brake EPB Release - Rear Brake Service Mode"
Thanks for sharing! For some reason the 12v method would not work for me with this truck.. tried it multiple times
@ the first time i tried it, it didnt work because i did not release the e brake haha. After releasing the e brake putting power to the leads allowed movement to the motor to back the piston out.
Thank you for sharing! Will these trucks get a new engine like the other 22s and 23s?
Yes. Up to a build date of February of 2023
Thanks
You're welcome!
This is great! Tha
Two questions: 1.) How does the rear main seal look on that truck with 100K on it? 2.) From what you have seen, would you buy a new gen Tundra or an F-150? I would appreciate your opinion.
Thanks for watching! 1.) Unfortunately I did not check the rear main on that truck. I was focused on thr brakes and did not do an oil change this time. I will make a point to check next time it is in the shop. 2.) As a general rule, I would choose Toyota over Ford EVERY time. I see a lot of problems with the Ford Ecoboost engines.. throttle body failures, boost solenoids, leaking exhaust manifolds at 40k, cam phasers, timing chains, etc. etc. With that said, Toyota messed up with these new Tundras however they do seem to be taking care of the engine failures. When I was at my local dealer they said any Tundra in a certain build date range can have the engine replaced right up to 99k miles - no charge. I hope they honor that and continue to make extremely reliable engines like all of their earlier models. Hope this info helps. God bless
@@HumbleHotshotthis is the first I’ve heard of the 99k mile part. I don’t think they can do that. I’d look deeper into that since this truck is past that limit.
@@HumbleHotshot that was incorrect information. The national Highway traffic safety administration regulations are at any recall issued by manufacturer is required to be honored for unlimited period of time and miles and also on any owner does not require the original owner.
Thanks for starting each video with scripture! Brings Romans 10:9-10 to mind. Keep up the good work!
Yes, thanks for the scripture. Also, thanks for the great information in this video. Gave me a new understanding of electric parking brake function. I like the discussion and the details. Great job!
