Tall Tales & Bald Facts, the disappearance and reappearance of Chinese actor Wang Xing
Chinese actor Wang Xing’s alleged abduction by a pig butchering operation has prompted a wave of trip cancellations. Many Chinese nationals are afraid to travel to Thailand. HK singer Eason Chan behaving totally in character, has also cancelled his concert in Bangkok which was originally slated to be held at the Impact Arena on 22 Feb. All this came following widespread concerns about safety in Thailand among Chinese netizens. Chinese actor Wang Xing allegedly went missing from a Thai town bordering Myanmar before he was “rescued” from a scam centre. The story went viral on Chinese social media, sparking fears among those with travel plans to Thailand.

This is a channel that features travel, mainly backpacking and adventure travel. Join me as I explore the mountains in Java, Bali, Sumatra, Lombok Indonesia and go trekking in the Himalayas, checking out the Annapura, Everest, Langtang and Manaslu regions of Nepal. There are also beautiful mountains in Sabah, Malaysia. I’ve also done hiking and horse-riding treks in Kyrgyzstan and Myanmar, exploring Shan state and insurgent army controlled areas in Hsipaw and Rahine. Thailand was my second home. I still visit from time to time. I also like to go to neighbouring Laos and Vietnam where I’ve visited Ha Giang, Hanoi and many other interesting locations.

Manaslu Circuit Trek 2024 Part 1
มุมมอง 395หลายเดือนก่อน
The Manaslu trek is often touted as one of the most spectacular treks in Nepal. Manaslu is a restricted area, so there is a little more paperwork involved. The reward is stunning scenery and a relatively undeveloped trekking route. In Part 1 of this video, I documented in detail the approach to the starting point at Macha Khola, on to Jagat, Deng, Namrung, Shyala and Samagaon. It's a long slog ...

This is Part 2 of my Manaslu trek. It continues from after the side trip from Samagaon to Punggen Gompa. I was supposed to do another side trip the next day comprising two parts. The first part was the trek to Birendra Tal, a beautiful glacial lake just outside Samagaon. The original plan was to push on to Manaslu base camp, but sensing that the morale was not high, I decided to abort the missi...
Beyond the Fringes of Thamel, the real Kathmandu
มุมมอง 87หลายเดือนก่อน
Travellers to Nepal are too familiar with sanitary (relatively speaking) Thamel with upmarket restaurants, T-shirt shops, outdoor sports shops and souvenir shops. Just beyond the fringes of Thamel, is the real Kathmandu with vegetable stalls, dingy restaurants and butchers who go about their businesses like their parents did 30 years ago. Only a little has changed. Even pampered Chinese tourist...

Singaporean Trekker Missing In The Nepal Himalayas on the Three Passes Trek

It has been 4 days since Mr Harry Tan went missing on the Three Passes trek at Kongma La. I remain optimistic as there is nowhere to hide in the open. If he's out in the open, he should have been easily found. Let's hope he has found his way to some hotel in one of the valleys and is uncontactable because of the lack of mobile signal. This book just ....only her own looks but not actual encounter everybody daily whole lifes of facing personal debts by banks, school and all personal matter that she wouldn't probably never ever faces on each other reaction and behavious express to anyone on appearance. What's a joke on this book!? There's no mean of daily reachout of solving problems on corruption everywhere in government sector which lays down in 100++years. Where even nowadays you no improvement on every place, things.....better see by yourself as a expert living well than others. That's a 'SHAME'.

@@SiakHuayLim-jk8tj Most mediocre Thais don't like to talk about serious subjects. Sanuk is just a temporary escape. It doesn't solve problems. Too often, the mediocre folks ignore problems and wish they would go away instead of tackling them. The author makes an exemplary philosophy out of sanuk. That, I think is quite laughable.

AMAZING! As I have been preparing for my Manaslu Circuit trek, I’ve watched a lot of vlogs, but your style of video making has resonated with me the most! Instead of an overly dramatic documentary with fancy drone shots (with views that you will not see when you hike yourself), you keep it personal and document your own journey. Thank you for sharing and bringing someone on the other side of the world along

The only way to revive this city if for the Malaysian Government to take full 100% stake of this project. Get rid of Country Garden as it is heading for bankruptcy!. I am Singaporean and I am afraid to buy a unit in this place as there are already reports of cracks on the walls in some buildings! Remember these buildings where on top of sandy artificial islands. The Islands where not given enough time to settle and the construction were hurried up to complete. How is the quality of these made in China buildings? Will it collapse or sink in the near future?

The answer is out. As expected, China was not behind the Brotherhood Alliance's Operation 1027. It was the government in exile, the NUG which had been planning with insurgent forces for this attack for the past one year. The "arrest"/evacuation of Chinese scam syndicate workers a week before the attacks was probably a deal made between Peng De Ren and the Chinese authorities. Once the Chinese nationals had been evacuated, the Brotherhood attacked and China called for peace. th-cam.com/video/KRNMGwaKOMQ/w-d-xo.html
