I’m in the middle of 30 that I can current,y do something about. I’m trying to knock that down to 10 before I start new ones. I normally like to read series back to back so if I’m not reading them then I’m obviously not interested in the stories.

I’m way too scared to even figure out how many I’m in the middle of but I love these videos.

I only read The Songbird & The Heart of Stone and I really liked that book. It was a slow start but strong finish. I had Beauitful Villain and A Tempest of Tea on my TBR but after your review, I feel like I can remove them or put them way on the back burner. But, Immortal Dark was a YA Fantasy Goodreads Choice nominee, so I’ll probably add that to the TBR 😊

Great selections! I just updated my library and from all the books that were scattered around the house and my sisters there’s now 200+ books 😅 which is crazy because the beginning of last year I decluttered boxes of books. I don’t read a lot of physical books though so I made a goal to read minimum of 25

My last book of 2024 was 'days at the morasaki bookshop' which i enjoyed but didnt love First book of 2025 was 'a meery little meet cute' which is a holiday romance by julie murphy and sierra simone, which i liked much more than i expected!

Happy New Year! Just an aside, did you ever read My Year of Rest and Relaxation? I was reading self-pub why choose fantasy trash for the 31st and 1st. Quick, mindless, easy… not particularly good either, but I have since moved on to better reads and two ARCs for March.

My last book was The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah which was definitely a 5 stars and then the first book was Forever,Interrupted by Taylor Jenkins Reid. Another 5 stars.

Hey! Nice wrap up 😊 My favorite book of 2024 was At First Spite by Olivia Dade. It was actually my first romance novel since I normally read thrillers, but it surprised me 😅

ooh! I'm glad the Mariana Zapata worked out, that one is on my tbr, hopefully will get to that the next year. I LOVED Kulti by that author, but I also tried Under Locke and hated it. I might have dropped it too soon, but the overbearing mmc was really annoying and kinda gross

All Rhodes Lead here was not my fav MZ book so don't judge off one 😊

Disclaimer - I'm a huge fan of the Red rising series. So, I'm excited for you to jump into it. Even if you don't decide to continue with the whole series, the first one is a fast paced, incredibly engaging read.

I found your channel from bookmas and have been LOVING your content. Heir is on my Jan tbr and while it is technically the start of a new series I would really recommend reading An Ember in the Ashes first they are pretty heavily interconnected.

My number 1 song of the year was From Eden by Hozier and even though I found the song on a playlist from The Fine Print by Lauren Asher, I think the song fits really well with Alone with You in the Ether by Olivie Blake which I read in February and still think about all the time. I loved that book.

You missed one of the Holly stories. She's also featured in the title novella in IF IT BLEEDS. It's somewhat of a direct sequel to THE OUTSIDER but it's the first story where she takes center stage as the lead investigator. Holly Gibney will also be in the one coming out next year (2025) called NEVER FLINCH.

I just finished The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year and I LOVED IT!! Highly recommend it! 🎄🎄❄️🥰

I like holiday books. I read under the mistletoe collection and my three favs were the ones you called too but I’d rank Ali’s as third with my fav being merriment and mayhem. My favorite holiday books is from Catherine Walsh

I love holiday books they kinda catapulted me back to reading again. I don’t buy any Christmas books, I just use KU and this year I’ve been listening to audiobooks. I listened to the Tessa Bailey novella while I was decorating my Christmas tree and I thought I zoned out because all I heard was spice and no plot or character development. After your review, I think I heard everything 😂

I've read 14. Then I own 17 and several of the others have been on my TBR.

I feel like I read more than I did, but I only read 23 and I have 12 on my TBR. I’m happy Demon Copperhead made it to the list even though it just barely made it.

I agree with all of your thoughts on Masters of Death. I loved all the characters, but I do wish the plot and purpose was more clear even though they talked about it so much in the book. But I will still keep reading all of Olivie Blake’s books. 😊

Stats are super interesting! I use Goodreads, although it's super limited. I enjoy the books over time graph, because I can clearly see my reading affected by what is happening in my life. A dip? Oh, that's when I got a new job. There's the pandemic. Oh, and there's where someone I loved passed away. There's where I bought my house lol.

I only track books read and I include audiobooks 🫣 but next year I might just track physical books.
