Not a great album, but this has always been a fave.
so good to hear this again after 40 years. such a great album
I bought it when it came out. The song writing is great but I think the production could have been a bit better. Maybe a remaster? I'm still listening to the record rather than a cd.
The sound track to my childhood, ❤❤❤
This song takes me back to a girl called Paula... However, very time I hear it, what strikes me most is the rhythm, Ted McKenna's drums, Zal's guitar, perfect. A very underated band.
For me one of best album of the seventies... could be the third album of Tear Gas with maturity. 💎
R.I.P. Hugh & Ted !!!!!!! SAHB forever>><<< see you soon ❤
Bought this magnificent album when it came out, blew me away, still does...smouldering...what an introduction
Love this album, hard to get on CD, wished they would have done a follow up, before 2 key members passed away, Ted does the vocals on this track, Zal does 1 track and Hugh does rest.
Brilliant album , playing it this week , saw them on this tour as a 16 year old kid ...fantastic stuff ...
Would be nice if available on Spotify deez or amazon?
Nice atmospheric feel to it - killer stuff!
Available in near future on Spotify?/deezer /amazon? (Sahb without alex r I p
Genius a brilliant album
This is an amazing song. Rhythm section with the half time beat is so cool. Love it.
All LP is excellent. A 💎.
Brilliant band very underated. Smouldering is amazing, lyrics, vocals and wow listen to Zals guitar riffs....
Still got this album on cassette Mint
Saw them at the Marquee doing this. Best gig ever. They were truly sensational.
Love it! seen Alex harvey lots of time, great band live!
Not just fore play, the whole works!
Getting a strong Steely Dan vibe!
Great song amazing guitar!
Got this album from boots in the bargain section, 50p what a bargain mind you it was a long time ago haha.
Strangely enough I got my Vinyl Version from Boots bargain section too - what a great find!
i have this classic on tape.. its bit wonky but it still plays
Love the bass.
The guitar riff on this is from heaven I think. Certainly not run of the mill.
Fabulous remember buying the this LP when it was released still have it.
fan tastic , have 2 cd,s of this 1 sealed.
Amazing, amazing band it never grows old .....timeless
I'm starting to realise just how good these guys really were.
Saw them at Leeds University, January, 1977. They were fantastic.
It was cool then and it still is
Oh yes!
Was a major S.A.H.B. fan from day one. This somehow passed me by!!. Look forward to checking the whole album
One of the best albums i ever owned and as you can see i am still digging it .
Whole album is great
RIP Hugh Ted & Alex
Yes so sad
This album had a real vibe - spacey rock!
Loved this album in my youth. Saw them playing in London (Rainbow Theatre I think) and also at the Marquee club. Saw them with Alex at Southend Kursall. All great gigs. Love that moog solo in this one - a bit like that great moog solo in Wake Up and Make Love With Me. Spacey.
I was at the Marquee and Kursaal too!
This album was before its time. Sahb were brilliant. These guys were sensational without Alex..today's rock bands know fuck all.70s are the best. Keep rockin to all. Andy. X
I bought this album (Vinyl) in 1977 after I heard Smouldering on norwegian Radio , Wow !!!
You can see why Rory Gallagher signed up Ted McKenna
RIP Ted. Integral part of my youth. Thanks for creating all those great memories xx
