You're totally right: whatever the paint job you make, the most important thing is that you need a museum quality decal replica ! (it really makes the difference, even if it's more expensive). Congratulations for your job ! Old shells should'nt be abandonned with no care and full of rust.
I still have a greenline bus exactly like this. Was given this by my parents when a child in the early sixties.I still have it,looking worse for wear though.Good to see them restored to the condition I remember.
They all look very natural and I like the colors which look authentic and nicely aged.
6 Klawiszy jednocześnie :o
Love the three farthings flag! I owned one of these. It had the CASH button but the keys could be pre-pressed without using it. Didn't seem to serve any purpose....
Lovely helmet collection. You are like myself- you make your helmets how you want them to look. Are you still collecting?👍🇬🇧
Hi thanks for your comment !! no more collecting !! Thanks Robbie ( TILLMANS COLLECTION )😀😀
You could age the liners by rubbing them with avocado oil, which has absolutely no odor and makes the liners look like they've been worn on a sweaty head.
The shells aren't wartime they were made postwar on some of the same machines. Look very similar but not genuine wartime helmets
A few are made during the war, with correct stamps/markings.
Nice job nothing wrong with it have done a couple myself put high quality ss decals on them.
Looks like a Dragon instead of a Dolphin
Just picked up a m55 as I too (as a broke university student) couldn't afford to buy the authentic m40s. It doesn't have the additional hole so I guess it's a real shell! My first time taking on a project like this I hope mine will turn out even half as nice as the ones you've done up, great job!
Regalame uno 🙂
You did a good job God bless
I have a 333 silver/nickle NCR I'm looking to sell of anyone is interested. Great condition. Working.
Hi just acquired a similar modem which is the 126. I wonder if you can help me out any tips on how to get the cash buttons work? As they are currently jammed. We managed to remove and clean the drawer together with the customer numeric meter.
Hi You have to the case of and give the till lots of WD 40 all over . Hope this helps you Robbie
Thanks alot! Unfortunately the two screws on the top are rusty and worn so i didnt manage to unscrew them :(
can you teach us out to weather like that?
Great job.
I liked this video.

Hello, you have such nice helmets and I wanted to ask which online shops you can recommend to me for original helmets.
Hi Thanks for your nice comments ! Try E/BAY Thanks Robbie
@@tillmanscollection7504 thank you
I just picked up one yesterday.
Hi Thats great have fun with it you will love it Robbie
Looks very nice these rare helmets.
Hi Thanks for your nice comments ! Robbie
Very nice 👍 , it doesn’t bother me if not original paint , it’s an original helmet , please let me know if ever you are selling any ,
Thanks for nice comments !! Robbie
So how are you able to tell that they are re issued ww2 helmets compared to the post war production helmets?
Very good job there… can’t fault you..🤘🏼🏴👍
How do you get the white camo looked that aged? It is really nicely done! I'd like to do an aged winter camo om my M42 helmet and I really would like to know how you got it aged that beautifully.
after the war,, border guards in west germany were given the ww2 type helmets instead of the American m1 helmets which the rest of the west german army used so that way the soviets wouldnt see a large amount of troops wearing the American helmets and think that the US was massing troops ready to invade.
Really nice to see these in their original post-war condition and not converted to resemble WW2 issue helmets.
Hi Thanks for your nice comments ! Robbie
They look amazing mate!
Hi Thats Robbie
2:22 That Decal represents the Werewolves, ore the Wehrwölfe that were an elite troop directly before the end of the war. In total they were one of the troops in the SS and the Wehrmacht that committed the most war crimes besides the troops of the Allgemeine SS and and the Leibstandarte SS, who committed double as much war crimes. Nice Job on the Helmet tho.
Hi Thanks for the info !! Robbie TILLMANS COLLECTION
He's back
awesome collection i think you did a real good job on them really cool
Hi Thank you for your comments and glad you like the helmets ! Robbie ( TILLMANS COLLECTION )
THE AGING YOU'VE DONE IS REALLY WELL DONE. ( LIKE THE CHIPPED RIMS ! ) THE ONLY ONE I WASN'T CRAZY ABOUT WAS THE SS. THE REST LOOKED GREAT THOUGH.
Nice work. I would like to purchase one or two if they are for sale. Nice video
H I THANKS FOR THE NICE FEEDBACK . BUT SORRY NOT FOR SALE
Excellent work! love what you do!...the only thing I would do is to purchase original liners and chinstraps instead of repro ones, however that's makes it rather expensive.
excellent restoration you've done here, I too restore my own collectables mine are NFS, wondering how might you do your camo paint (spray on to get that aged effect?)
Hi Robbie,I just purchased an M 35 from Ukraine. The strange thing its painted in a red colour, now faded, with lots of rust & battle damage.I believe it to be original .Any ideas? Thanks mate
Nice work Robbie, great collection..I have a 1945 M42 but i had to use filler on the rust. Its not too bad but could i add sawdust & put it on with wood glue before repainting. Cheers
Mix some fine sand with some matt Varnish or paint that works well ( NOT WOOD GLUE) Thanks Robbie
@@tilly1950 Thanks a lot Robbie appreciate the advice
I've bought a 126 which is jammed. I'm hoping to get inside and clean it , 're oil and grease it and get it going. What's the best way to get the cover off and is starting with the base plate removal the best route? Is there anything I wouldn't do? Also looking for a rear glass lens which may be impossible. Cheers
Hi YOU NEED TO UNDO THE 2 SCREWS ON THE FINGER PLATE & THE 4 SCREWS ON THE BASE PLATE UNDER THE TILL & YOU NEED TO RELEASE THE DRAWER & THERE ARE SCREWS INSIDE THE TILL THAT HOLD THE OUTSIDE (COVER) TO THE TILL & GIVE IT LOTS WD 40 !! & LET IT SOAK IN FOR A DAY OR 2 . I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU . Robbie (TILLMANS COLLECTION)
@@tilly1950 you're very kind to reply, sir. I managed, after much grunting and a little swearing to get the screws out of the plate in front and I've the base screws soaking tonight. I'm hoping I'll be able to release the drawer once I've the base off. I'm totally amateur, but very much enjoying it. Your collection is astounding. I've an old not 21 electric I'm working on and have dark red a couple of Sweda 46/M machine and a Gross Ambassador. I'll let you know how I get on. Might you have any spare lock keys - prop control reset / rear etc? Cheers.
Loving this machine. I've recently acquired a class 106 which, after three decades in a pub cellar, is jammed. I'm working on that part and also need a set of keys for read, reset, the paper cover etc. The only number I so far have is on the machine lock which is set to closed drawer and is E47697. Be really grateful for any help. I hope I've not stood on anyones toes by asking. Thanks.
Hi .I will have look at my spare key;s for if I have got the key I will let you know ! Robbie
@@tilly1950 that would be Great, Robbie. Thanks for looking
Helmet no.6 you show, double decal, has a national shield on the right..........I have an early DDR M56 helmet, with the three visible liner studs, with a very similar decal , a tricolour shield in the same colours, but on the left side . Liner is marked MdI, interior ministry. I had a similar helmet, three rivet type, that had a DDR police star decal, sited on the front..............possibly a standard bearer issue..........although it was full weight steel, and not the plastic parade helmet. Thanks for posting your fascinating video. Best regards.
Hi Glad you liked the video thanks for the comments . Robbie (TILLMANS COLLECTION )
Nicely done! Sadly, the red cross decal is a fake fantasy decal. They never were a thing i'm afraid... Besides, the helmets with a bead (in this case, an M35) were as far as i know only police helmets or luftschutz helmets! regardless, very nicely restored! and you probably already know this, but just incase... please never restore a helmet with original paint or decal visible! regardless of how rusty it might be
Hi Thank's for that info ! Robbie TILLMANS COLLECTION
Hi There is a decal for the Red Cross which in the book of WW2 german helmets which a repo of the original on the M35 bearded WW2 German Helmet Thanks Robbie
Really nice collection, well researched and well presented. I’m sure you could make some decent beer money doing these for customers etc lol. Thanks for showing us.
Thanks for your nice comments Robbie ( TILLMANS COLLECTION )
"Wehrmacht" refers to the Heer, Luftwaffe, and Kriegsmarine collectively. You are saying Wehrmacht when you really mean to say Heer, i.e. "army".
Thank's for that Info . Robbie TILLMANS COLLECTION
Awesome collection!!!
That 1st helmet is a German army decal.BTW:im German American and had family over there
No it's good so it's krigsmarine
nice collection m8...well done :)
Great collection I've got one, which I turned into a ww2 type police helmet☺☺☺
Hi Thats great ! Robbie
Great information Robbie
Would like to know what the little chrome lever is on the right hand side of the till..
