These Life Lessons That Will Fix 93% of Your Problems
I am 86 yrs old male, I don’t walk, I just dance 4 to 5 times a week , for at least 2 hrs, I will keep on dancing until I drop dead., because to me life enjoyment is priority. I dance mostly with the younger generation as older women does not know what Salsa, Bachata dance or Zouk Dance is.
I am n women of 88 and still busy. I have a lot of hobbies and . like gardening in Knitting croghering embrodering and reading. i am a Jack of ol trads, but master of none
This is what I always do.
Yes you can't do things you did 30 years ago - nor should you want to! Exercise is a dirty word but you still need to do it in old age. The body responds to being used NOT to - 'taking it easy' Don't fall for the trap of lethargy. At 70 I still walk for miles, dig the garden, lift heavy items climb ladders and do garden work. Not because I HAVE to but because I chose to. 'Taking it easy' is the fast lane to the hospital. When i start walking my knees ache but after a while they stop aching and are fine and can walk up to six miles or so. I say MAKE THE BODY WORK and you will be healthier and enjoy your later years without the stresses of your younger years!
The one gathering that i have avoided since i turned 18 is church. Life is so much better without religion and insipid churches. Our planet has evolved poorly. Church being the guidance for the most advanced species on the planet is evidence for that to any civilization that might be observing us.
I go through a nightmare everyday with family, i doubled my bp pills for now, and trying to get off xanax
Once the glue to family leaves the earth, holiday gatherings seem to change
I like taking care of my grandkids. Why would I resent the “loss of freedom” when I have spent my life being responsible. Sounds like a good lifestyle for the selfless
I avoid the proctologist and any formal events.
This advise is not great. Walking is good for circulation and for joints, heart and lungs as well as muscle strength. The obvious is mentioned: not walking excessively. Anything that is done excessively is bad, also strength training. Joga and Taichi are beyond many senior ability.
But when your pecker shrinks up where you can't even find it and your woman's lips are down to her knees and her boobs are up over her shoulders You're probably going to want some strong hallucinogenics to pretend I'm not here It's not happening everything's okay I just trip and fall break a bone now and then and dream about the past and remind everybody of your accomplishments 50 60 years ago I forget that soon you'll be dust and within 40 years your name will be forgotten and you will mean nothing to anyone.
I'm looking forward to wearing my red MAGA hat to Thanksgiving dinner with extended family. Any stress won't be mine !!
Well...at least the red hat will make the family DICK easy to spot.
Thank you. Good and helpful information.

Hmmm... I've been getting a lot of these so-called 'life-lesson'- type videos in my feed lately and I suspect that most, if not all of them are AI-generated. I'm not sure how I feel about being given 'life-lessons' by a machine which is not, and never will be alive, regardless of how sensible their advice may seem at first glance. Somehow they just make me feel uncomfortable. Just sayin'... 🤔
I learned that lesson last Christmas about avoiding family gatherings. My family seems to think they can avoid me all year and never call. Then at Christmas time, they invited me to a family Christmas dinner IF I could take myself, even though some of them were driving right through my area. If there was an award for selfish self centeredness, my brother and sisters, as well as their children could take it.
Loved the reminders! Agree with everything. ..I must be mellowing 😊 lol !
I don't trust AI generated content.
It’s about meaning of this Video not about AI.
Surprised how many people hate church. I love the church I go to. Its so sad my daughter hates me because im part of the white patriarchy , that's ok , I have good friends and an amazingly beautiful and loving wife. I love the life the Lord has given me ❤✝️
Amen Alleluia.PRAISE BE JESUS CHRIST. NOW AND FOREVER.🙏🙏🙏
Please get a different voice.
I asked my son if he and his wife and kids would move in with me. At first he think so but then he agreed. I have been happy with them being here. My health is bad so it’s been a blessing, from God, to have them, here.
Avoid attending any church or watching any preacher on TV. They all want to flece you of your money in the name of a god.
I need my electric scooter , walker 😩 😂😂😂

I'm nearly 78 , looking forward to the rest of my life. ...just good gene's i guess...avoid doctors and hospitals
1) touch your toes 2) remember everyone on Gilligan's Island 3) eat pizza after 8 p.m. and sleep soundly same night 4) you don't shake hands with invisible people after your speech 5) you don't get assassinated by anyone named Kamala 6) juggle 7) do downward dog without wet farting 8) screw like gerbils
How did that guy get three hands?
😂😂😂😂 he won 🏆
Good video. Not all infirmities are the result of the causal factors you mention. I am 84. Five years ago, one disk kind of collapsed and caused damage to the nerves in my left leg and foot. I cannot balance on the left foot. I have compensated by walking a bit more carefully. My eyes and the other weak link. Wet macular degeneration keeps my right eye from being able to focus. My left eye is not great either. Reading is difficult. I do it mainly on a large computer monitor. I can walk, do exercise, can make decisions, handle my finances, interact often with wife and children, cook frequent meals, repair home and car problems, etc. Thanks for the presentation.

Very wise advice indeed. Go at your own pace. Damn the torpedoes!
Damn the torpedoes 😂😂
Omg sooooooo true
I strongly believe that because of the longer life span, 95 per cent of the population in advanced countries do not have any issues with the content of the video.
I only enjoy Buffet's!😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
Buffet's! 😂😂😂😂 🎉
Yup!
Sounds good to me, let's eat.
Don't use the word old age. Old has such negative connotations. Just say as you blossom, or Bolder age. Or even somewhat older. People don't age things age. Your spirit is ageless.
How about ; Apprentice Geriatric ,
❤🎉❤
I'm old, damn it.
Your delusional its old are you will feel it very soon
@@douglasspringer1665 For real 😅. Old, classic or vintage are very expensive terms. I just turned 72 and I let my daughters know that. They accept it with respect. It costs a lot to acquire a vintage or a classic car and even more to maintain it.
Why such offensive pictures of older people? You made her look like a mummy. !!!!
My mother, a great school teacher, said why do they very frequently picture teachers as homely older women or in some other negative light.
I don't want to get sick from someone in the crowd who should've stayed home.
Amazing ❤
The worst period of each person life is the life after 75 yrs old !!! i personally wish to die at age 75 !! Whn the human believe in the millions of yrs of living at the here after then the current short life will be really silly and not worth that we worry so much about it ... If you just believe that our body is a meterialised thing and the soul is the thing that really matters, then you will have a peace of mind 🎉🎉..
Bulshit Cults suckin the last few minutes of your life through a 10% tithe
I like peace, calm and good food. Playing with my Puppy.
Me too 😊
I love my little dog more than anything else.
The one huge thing I enjoy about retirement is that I don't have to battle the harsh winter conditions anymore. A hot cup of coffee by the fireplace, looking out the window at a pouring snowfall, is what I call serenity.
I love retirement. Looking at the world spinning outside our windows is lovely 😍
The way I see it were very lucky if we reach retirement as Goverments make it really hard to survive when you reach sixty five So if want to live longer be kind to yourself and others have a sense of humour moderation in food and Drink walk don't run don't drive Get the bus or train and enjoy life its great
It's so nice knowing you don't have to go out in it.
I so agreee!! Love it!

Childrens are blessings from God to the Parents, Out of Love they should take care of their elderly parents at all cost to honor their sacrifices as Parents...
Ah! Thanksgiving is coming up and the Election results is still news... Oh my! Stress!
Polar Bear Club gatherings, strip poker games, spin the bottle games, gunny sack races, ding-dong-ditch'em excursions, and cow tipping, I wouldn't recommend, however, if you have a lawn chair, wiener dog races are ok.
I like not being in a hurry. I don't like crowds. I still love to dress sharp,it's for me.
Love your comment. Although I am not much of a sharp dresser myself I find it quite delightful to see people who are.
My wife is paralyzed and needs my help in the women's restroom. Once in a great while, I find someone who doesn't understand this or insists on conventional rules. So I tell them that "This in an announcement. Not a negotiation!" and go ahead. I have yet to be confronted seriously. But I am prepared for that.
😮😮😮❤❤❤What a wonderful for your wife to have as a partner.❤❤❤
Don't go to rave parties, burnouts, or rally parades
Great advice👏👏👏Thankss❤
You are so welcome!

Could this be a form of depression? I have also started to feel more comfortable at home. The thought of going out induces a certain level of discomfort bordering fear.

I often experience the desire to stay home all the time, however, realizing that it is good for my mental health to socialize on occasion. I walk/bike to my nearby Senior Center to enjoy a nutritious/delicious free lunch and talk w other seniors. The experience of being nurtured in a supportive environment really feels good/makes me happy.
Like religion, a fashion show. Church a place were people go to compare clothing.
Not in my community church, however, who has been there the longest or donated the most money "win"
Yup, that's my mother.
The Catholic church where I was raised, announced how much money people gave with their names on the bulletin. Those of us who didn't have a lot of extras were at the bottom of the list for shaming purposes. 😊
@@suzismith9729 The church always seem like a bunch of bull, even when I was a young kid. Jesus loves me this I know? The 50/s brainwashing& 60/s. The Victorian era nonsense. The church, schools and society alwasys try to find a way to try to make you feel guilty for something.
