at 2:29 how did you go from circle to 'squircle' so quickly? you pulled all the anchors in different directions with one button press. is that a macro?
It’s Fit Curve (on the right panel), with shortcuts ctrl + opt + numerals

That one is a little custom thing tweaked for my needs, but there are many other word generators with various functionality: Word-o-mat plugin mbtype.com/wordlist justanotherfoundry.com/generator

This is great. I've been drawing type, for Logos, for a long time. However, I've only just finished my first (And second) typeface, so I still feel like a beginner. I actually teach design at a university, so watching the way you give feedback has been invaluable for more than one reason. Please keep these videos coming, I might send you one of my typefaces for the next one.

how to define weights measurements (in px)?
What do you mean? Fonts are made using units per M (UPM), which is relative to the size it is set in.

Just stumbled across this today and it's funny to hear you say that x is your least favourite character to design because just yesterday with Twitter rebranding to X, I was explaining why the X they've used looks wrong and had the legend Erik Spiekermann comment that X was his least favourite character to design because of the widths of each leg and the optical compensation necessary to make it look right.
Oh, even Spiekermann doesn’t like it? :D My bet is that Musk expected Twitter’s new logo to be hated and debated to keep his name in the news.

what program is used to make these after effects? Also how did you do the kinetic typography AR?
Some of the animations were coded, some AE. The AR was “faked” with AE, at the time when I made it there were barely any usable AR software available.

How do you have dark mode in the edit window??
I toggle it with this script: github.com/slobzheninov/Glyphs-Scripts/tree/master/App There’s also “Always use light mode” checkbox in Glyphs 3 preferences

Hi! This is a private custom tool. Still can’t make it public for a few reasons. You can achieve the same result by scaling each contour though, just takes a little longer :)
