Splitter fell off before I could figure out the car / track. Always next time! Thats what I get for Micky Mousing things!!! Air temp 90f! IAT's RED! Whoops. Never look down that far.. Only at the oil and coolant. 1 second off ftd with 6 laps in the car is pretty solid. Best for the day was a 911 cup that did a 1.11.9. Heat slowed us down for sure. Last time I was here the car struggled to hit 1...

Having fun, what a machine. No predictive today, simply feeling time. 1.32.9 was my best for the day. Time to get an AIM On this day I set a new s2000 chassis lap record and overall jdm record! Its a beatable one, one day we'll go back with a7 305's, ty to all my crazy friends who have all helped. You guys rock. Turbo s2000 and a 997 GT3 cupcar S2000 is a time trial/endurance time attack car. The Cup car does not have abs, or tc and is a REAL endurance car. Fun to compare. Last session of the day, no point in going all out. Did one or two "fast" laps the rest were cruising. I wanted everyone to go home sunny side up!

280whp 7year old toyo rs1's heavy wheels pb 58.9, car was capable of a 57.9, but the driver was not ;-) Car had significant understeer, need to reduce front swaybar. First track day with the turbo, this session I was trying to figure out what gear was best where, how to enter different turns and deal with the understeer. overall was a successful day.

this was recorded 10+ years ago. hence the minty car.
The cup car driver looks substantially off the pace. Doesn't seem to know his braking points for the track
After further review. The video footage is slower than the actual time. Phones are not lap timers and are not perfect lap times for this session per transponder timing 1.44.3 1.37.6 1.36.2 1.34.0 1.38.6 1.38.5 1.35.5 1.38.9

I had no idea what the fuck I was doing. This was my first time sliding my s2000, it all began here. Didn’t always know what I was doing.
I can't remember the last time Bond had a car with less than 300hp but it has to have been the 70s or earlier

No flaggers, private day, literally rented the track out, fucking awesome. I'm probably one of a handfull of people who have ever drifted that straight

@@marlonmorales7027 Both. Switching is pretty easy, and i'm comfortable with whatever. I've been drifting the grip setup over the last few years, but i think i will properly set it up properly and go do a drift event or two this year.
@@Mr.SlipperyX do you have a steering angle kit on the car? & stock motor? diff?
@@marlonmorales7027 i do have a steering angle kit for drifting, but i havent used it in 4 years, works great! Stock motor number 2, number 1 died chasing a gt3. stock diff outlasted the stock transmission, and stock motor with stock ecu that had zero over revs. Has since been replaced with an 8.8 for durability.

What was your tire and wheel setup in the snow?
in the video, dunlop winter sport fronts, and all season rears. winter tires all round would have been better

@@Mr.SlipperyX Another question, is your car purely setup to drift or can you still put grippy tires on, switch up the alignment and properly track it? kinda interested into getting an angle kit for my ap1 after watching all your videos lol
@@robtorress i frequently switched back and forth. my drift setup is, no front swaybar(extra angle, more front understeer/grip), rear bar connected, 205 fronts, 195 rears. Also i have shortened knuckles. to switch back to grip i swap front knuckles and reinstall my front swaybar if you have any questions i'm more than happy to help. have fun and be careful
