Walther ppks. Still a good carry option?
Good comparison review Thanks
Tippmann is the former paint ball maker. FT. W Indiana.
Hitting a frying pan at 5 meters is no art. What is interesting is hitting a dollar at 50 meters
The tippman and lantac .22's are sick
diff company... same family
My favorite gun by far! 130 rounds in and my other guns are jealous already lol
Glad you enjoy it, thanks for watching!👍
Lightening cuts???
I buy the adapter plates from Baretta's website. They could be more elegant or fitted to the gun, but they work fine.
I have a question about the powder used in 22Lr and 223 Rem. I find the smell of the smoke from my 223 Rem to be really unpleasant. The 22 smells nice like it should and how i remember the smells from my military service. Can anybody relate?
Alot of videos ive seen, they recomend CCI Stinger or MiniMag. Is that what the average guy use? Where i live the MiniMag and especially Stinger is quite pricey compared to CCI standard velocity. Like 4-5 x more expensive. I have S&W MP 15-22 and i haven't had any problem with the cheapest ammo i can find (Norma TAC-22).
So I run stingers because they are more reliable and a little cleaner that most 22lr ammo. Also I small game hunt with them and they are the most effective I have found. But it is not a must no
European here, what do you mean by "dont have the stamp for that (suppressor)". Is that some kind of permit you need?
Yea so essentially you have to file for a tax stamp. Send in fingerprints and a few forms in order to legally own a suppressor. That process isn't difficult it just shouldn't be necessary in my opinion.
Lol you think some make sound effects?
What's up with these TH-camr's dropping the magazine on the ground. I would never do that! Shit gets all dirty and scratched up. I love my Tippmann M4-22 Pro and only use CCI 22's Mini=Mags and Stanger's since my other 22's are so picky with ammo.
a non reciprocal red dot on there is the dream
It really has been a game changer for me
A little while ago Dave over at OADefense invited me to a demo range day to give their 2311 line of blasters a try. The guys were running a suppressed Alien and let me give it a go. It had the red dot slide and it was like nothing else - just as you said. I could not run the trigger as fast as it wanted to go and the return to center for follow ups was instantaneous. Everything about it is next level. @7 yards - cold bore - 5 rounds thru 2 holes!!! Crazy. That said their Compact 2311 is more my speed and everything considered, I shoot that just as well - dollar to dollar. Honestly I was happy to shoot it and happy to give it back- lol - was kinda nervous the whole time. Mongo Break! glad to find ya on the toob again!! cheers
Very interesting and cool you got some range time with one!! I could never find a place to run one so just had to bite the bullet and purchase one so fortunately I love it! Thanks for watching I appreciate it!!
You planning on keeping this piece? (Not that I'd have the money to buy it, ha)
Haha I am planning on keeping this one. I'm really enjoying shooting it, very unique!
Zach, it was definitely a pleasure to be a part of this fine acquisition. Definitely, a great review on your part. Enjoy! On Point Arms
Appreciate it as always man!👍
I'm just going to start this off by saying...."ya lucky dog you!!" 😎 Creator version or not that is one awesome unique firearm ya got there!! Having the low bore axis, the swap from irons to red dot, high cap, it's a total package many won't ever see in person. Congrats on that one!! I'll have to re-watch in the morning with some coffee! 😎🤟👊
Very lucky indeed!! I really appreciate it! Thanks for watching!👍
@@gunpowderandprotein3444 you get a different job or just supporting your local FFL? When you get in good at the getting place things can work wonders. I once was given a brand new cp33 for helping the gun store owner move things for a few hours. Then I got to hand it over to my pops after I put 500 rounds through it just last thanksgiving. I'd like to see an update if possible. Maybe try and keep a close eye on round count just for shits and giggles? So in 6 months you can make a "20k round count on the Alien" video update.... that's actually something I haven't seen. Probably because they just run....
No new job I was just fortunate enough to be able to purchase one! Hopefully if the channel keeps growing I'll get some more support but I enjoy doing it anyway! Also I will be keeping a close eye on round count. I have 300 total through it as of now and plan on another couple hundred today, it's a blast to shoot!
@@gunpowderandprotein3444 I hear that man I'd be doing the same thing, couple hundred rounds of 9 can go by in 20 minutes, especially with fast shooting pistols! Helps during the winter I suppose so your not freezing for to long. We got a few inches last night and I kinda want to hit the range as well. Just not sure what to take....ammo stash is kinda depressing. 🤣 I need to stack up this winter!! Have a good range session!!
The PPK/S has an exposed metal backstrap. The grips on the shorter frame of the PPK wrap around, and I've found, particularly with a good set of walnut grips, there's less perceived recoil with a PPK than a PPK/S.
What holster are you using for the rdp?
It's a hellcat holster from G- Code holsters. Super comfortable
My tippmann eats up bulk ammo just as long as it’s plated meaning it don’t like lead nosed stuff
Those stoegers are awesome guns I prefer them over my g19 trigger gels a lot nicer
Thinking about one of these in FDE. My brother has a black elite and it's an absolute joy at the range. It's such a fun little rifle to plink and practice with.
Got 2 of em both the elites mine r both black have the full length one like yours here and also got the micro they’ve recently came out with a 22 mag version prolly b getting that one too
will this rifle cycle .22 CCI quiet rounds (710fps)
I personally have never tried. My experience is it runs most ammo very well. I have not tried quiet rounds
Love to have a Tippman but Im happy with my Colt M4 Ops Installed the trigger spring kit from HK parts Its a great shooter not picky and quite accurate Shoot in backyard w/subs and a TacSol Aeris Use a red dot plinking but the PA 1-6 x24 ACSS scope is perfect for these type rifles
You need a sunshade for your camera lens
Great videos. How far can you shoot precise? Can it get the same groups on 100mtr like a cz 457?
At 100 meters I would assume not extremely tight groups. I'm running a red dot so definitely not on my setup. But with a scope the outcome would be different. The cz I would imagine would be more accurate at a further range
@@gunpowderandprotein3444 tnx for your response. Greeting from the netherlands.
thanks for watching!👍
I was thinking about getting the cr920x. Might not tho cuz I can just put my 43x mos fame on my cr920 slide. Might just get the xp.
Sell the 43x you won’t regret it. More rounds flatter shot etc etc
@@BOYBOY46PL I have the cr920xp but I’m gonna keep the 43x mos also. Money not A issue tbh I can keep all and still get ammo. If I was gonna sell one it’ll prolly be the regular cr920 cuz it’s to snappy.
@@BOYBOY46PL it’s weird tho, I shot A better group with the 43x mos. It has A apex connector so trigger is lighter and tlr7 sub. xp was way less snappy tho.
@@HitManJavi02 yea i get it.. i was carrying a G26 gen5 and it was perfect to me. Until i took Cr920xp elite home. Added light and optic. I told my old lady i think i love this gun more than you lol
@@BOYBOY46PL sheesh lol😂 I needa get me A tier one holster that’s compatible with A tlr7 sub. I would’ve told her the same thing 😭
I wish you would’ve done a side by side size comparison while you had both pistols out. I do prefer the Kimber but I have a trigger job done and a heavier recoil spring in it. Perfect now and a 3lbs trigger.
OK, a $600 sight on a $600 rifle just seems like over kill. or false economy. Any way you look at it, that's a heck of a lot of money for a .22.
Dont be poor
@@Blake12804 Good advice. You should try it.
@@lenzielenski3276 i got duals but ok
Your video popped up in my feed. I'm blown away! There's a gun store in Maple Grove, WOW. I used to live in Maple Grove, but moved to the freer state of VA back in 2013. My only choice back then was the shop in Robbinsdale. Good for you and Down Range. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the comment! Small world! Hope you're enjoying VA, thanks for watching!👍
Only ammo that won't run my M&P 15-22 is subsonic.
I went with the basic tippmann over the s&w and love my tippmann. A tad picky on ammo
You mentioned it was comfortable to carry. What holster are you using? I've heard standard G48 holsters don't work because of rail on the front of the CR920XP. Thanks!
The g48 Mos holster should work. Also if you inquire about it companies should say which ones will fit it. I personally use g code holsters.
I use the Tier One Concealed Glock 48 MOS holster for my CR920XP. It works perfectly.
@@BMP414with a weapon mounted light? Or just the gun?
How about p365 w/ radian afterburner comp vs cr920xp.
I just bought a BCA UPPER 22LR for my old ATI lower. 22lr is damn fun. Ever since i got my 10/22 been hooked.
looking forward to the follow up review, keep it up
Im between this and an MR920FE/G19 for my first carry gun. Worth the extra over them?
The mr920 is a little bit bigger so as far as carrying goes it may be harder to Conceal but it would work. G19 is a good option as well. In my personal opinion the cr920xp is more bang for your buck and a smoother shooter. It all comes down to personal preference. All are good options but my choice is the cr
Glock are fat and uncomfortable get a SS
Those are not licensed places to fire. A gun --don’t be that guy and kill someone
What and the hell are you talking about? It's my house and I own the land. I think you're on the wrong side of TH-cam
As a owner of a MR920 combat and XR920 Elite this gun has my attention. Great video.
Shadow makes some awesome products that's for sure! Thanks for watching 👍
Gotta love a Tippmann!
Great review! I own the CSX 9 and agree with all of your points, it's not snappy at all on follow up shots. I'm looking at picking up the Kimber micro 9 since I own and love my 45 Kimber. I'm hoping to pick up their model with the rubber Hogue, Wraparound to see if that helps reduce the recoil and possibly a thicker recoil spring. Cabelas does have a Kimber Micro STG model for $650 that's exclusive to them and isn't too ugly or pricey. But, if you want their pretty gun lineup with night sights that's $700 or more :)
Stop using 115 in comped pistols. They like it hotter. And there is a 200 round break in period.
I own six Shadow Systems pistols. All have seen over 1,000 round of mixed ammo. I have not had one malfunction of any kind. Absolutely flawless. 👍
They just released the 22 wmr rifle.
Thanks for the heads up I'll order one!
Can't wait for the review!!!!
Is it a gen3
I paid 929 for the cr 920 with comp. I think any gun you buy thats over 6 hundred is good enough. 😊
Now 8-2024. You can get the original wrap round grips by " Lok-Grip". For more palm swell feel ❤. I did see one in blue'ish titanium frame, it looked Cool. I by total Luck found one called the Urban Tac Pack all black with threaded barrel and two extended mags +2 holding 15 rds each .
