Amazing ahead of his time cx
Just the same.
Sideline cut at about 8.10. Insane. Must admit, I didn't think they were hitting those kind of points from the sideline back then in the 60s!
Lived in Galway from 1982 - 89, student then worked in Thermo King , great memories brought back there, left for UK in 89 after made redundant , sorry we ever left Galway, no place like it
Did I spot a very young Conal O’Grada at 7.10 ? Sporting a very nice gansy
I love seeing Galway in 1986--from March to June I was the happiest man in the city.
The electric car guys: visionaries long before their time. God rest Jim Fahy---what a loss.
Omg I knew Tara, she passed away around 3 year's ago 🥺
R.I.P my beloved brother Pa. Rest in peace love and miss you always.
Where does it Show Pa in the video plz ❤
@@LearningWithMaryam Pa is the handsome guy in the white suit-jacket with the bluey jumper underneath, he's standing next to the old lady in the glasses outside the lottery store on Bedford Row street in Limerick city centre, you'll see him when they're talking to the folk about the new scratch cards that had just came on sale in Limerick.
@@LearningWithMaryam Is this Winnie Or Mags? lol
6:16 Mobile shop? Wow, that's interesting
He's such a natural on camera
Brian Cowen was no idiot
Great man !!
No comments!!!????
We didn't appreciate how good we had it back then, to be surrounded by your own people in your own homeland is priceless.
Life terrifies you, doesn't it? Poor lamb. Try to get outside the confines of your own little head some time.
@tonyhartnett3376 I don't take advice from Planters.
@@siobhan3937 Which nicely proves my point about your ignorance. Well done you!
I doubt you lived through the 80s Siobhan...'cause it wasn't good. High unemployment, high interest rates, high emigration....that's thousands of young people, leaving the country for most of that decade. And I won't mention the heroin addiction, or the frequent reports of shootings, bombings and armed robberies on evening news bulletins. Plus, lack of access to healthcare and homelessness/substandard housing were issues back then too.
@shamrockshore6308 I doubt you're living in Ireland or in reality, if you sincerely believe that things are better here now than in the eighties.
How theve mocked Mrs trump and her son
Who is the host? I recognise the voice from a show on Radio 1 at weekends.
Andy O'Mahony
I know his brother Sean Webb well.
is that jerry fields going to the disco
Jaysus @27:15 is that cowboy kellly
Love and agree with the description "an act of vandalism, also Clifden, Achill, Donegal's railways. So many others. Yep vandals all right
Funny joke wasn't it. Divide and conquer, what a bunch of hypocrites.
The lies were queuing up in the managers mouth waiting to come out.
Bill O Herlihy was the reporter there. RIP Bill
This is what TH-cam is about!! What a find. Time capsule clip of presenter great, Graham Norton. I would have never seen this in my life.
Hard to blame them
Over a kettle it started fact.
That is a fact. My father started the fire in dorm 5 a block where the riot started
Tear gas is a very useful agent. There is another one too. Sarin
The young Brian Cowen... Have to wonder if he had managed to continue in politics would Bord na Mona, power stations, have been decommissioned. Would Mr Eamonn Ryan be allowed to be the real Taoisheach, and the other 2 be the pretend Taoisheachs. Although his government with Gormley on board brought in the first carbon tax, in the middle of the economic collapse. One suspects that Gormley stuck in the knife
Very good 👍
London taxi at 13:06 . Was that Bantry?
I only found out last year that he lived up the road from me in the late 70s and early 80s but he is 6 yrs older but I live here 47 years
Far play, not many people create a positive vibe like Ireland does.
Aaah that's cause "they were treated so well" the prisoners
Where can I find the full discussion? Why is Graham so mad 😂
Because they are all heterosexual no condoms no pill no family planning and all would like a bit of sex but graham been gay is with all the other gays who don’t worry about getting pregnant. I’ll edit this I know the name of this show young line or something like that if I don’t get back that’s the real name and you might see it all.
Because the Ireland he grew up in was an uber-catholic, conservative, pearl-clutching society intent on living in the past and making something as innocuous as disco into a media frenzy about what it’s doing to the “young people.”
hi guys, would you have any recordings pertaining to the Ballybunion Marconi station?
Bring back the coal mine ;-)
The headstone fell over and crushed the old fella😄
Who is the announcer at 39:33?
T Bone steak to The Hari Krisnas . I thought they are vegetarian.
Great to see Cavan win and my father was part of that great team
outside The Lobster in Waterville on the walls of the Butler Arms with Keatings up the road.. things have changed dramatically since then.. there was much hardship but it's also difficult to articulate just how beautiful the world looked to my 7 year old eyes back then
One of those football team managers said, we had too many players on the field. How did the referee allow that???
Or a young Gerry Adams.
Spent 3 weeks in Castlegregory in 1976 in a mobile-home park during the 76 global warming incident. 3 weeks in Waterville in 1978, I would count them as the best holidays of my childhood I was 9 and 11, was all Irish colleges after that. Been back many a time and I will say modernization has definitely taken away the charm.Thanks.
Landladies of Limerick worried about getting students. Little did they know. Thanks for the upload. I love seeing old Limerick! I grew up around UL campus, a lot of good memories
The media has always lied to the plebs, it’s there to indoctrinate and brainwash rather than report the truth.
At that moment somewhere there in town was a girl who would become one of the best female artists of all time
Who?

I was 22 in 82 and trying to find happiness in all the wrong places when l met the happy Hare Krsnas there in their Lisdoonvarna camp. They fed all comers with hot porridge and hot curry's non stop without bias. They sang and danced and smiled all weekend long and on seeing this l became convinced they were the only sane ones there and the real spiritual deal so l then and there started to chant their ancient chant of deliverance from birth and death, the maha mantra (maha/great man/mind tra/freeing) of Hare Krsna Hare Rama (Gods names meaning Reservoir of Pleasure) and got higher than I'd ever been and l havent come down since. All glories to the Krsnas and all glories to the Lisdoon organisers. Visit the Krsnas at Govindas vegetarian/vegan restaurant in Middle Abbey St Dublin (beside Easons side door) for best ever vegetarian/vegan food
I was also there and I was also 22 and I was also fed by the Hare Krsnas. I only found the program booklet again yesterday. We camped in Doolin at McGann's pub behind the house. We hitchhiked from Stuttgart to Lisdoonvarna. That was a great time.
