If "without phones" means disturbing everyone with your sound then you desirve more then just a stare
My dude, it’s dinosaur poo.
I was hoping. haha
great video.... ✅
what is your wife doing,, will you stay in Switzerland
I am swiss canadian with farm background, from near Toronto, l like your videos .... you are very curious and a brave man with a great temperament. Good luck in your adventures
Hilarous .. "if you take a "GIRL Kartoffel" from Germany across the nearby border to Switzerland.. it becomes a "Boy Hardöpfel".. so greeeeaaat..hahahah.. Greetings from Switzerland ..
If a stranger is nearby and you watch a video without headphones, you deserve a glare. The height of bad manners. Couldn't believe it when I visited home after living in Japan and someone did that...
Getting married after a short time it's breathtaking jump! I did it too back in 2006 with my wife. We met in late 2005, got engaged in march 2006 and got married in december 2006 (Rathaus) and in june 2007 (Kirche). Still going on well! Bravissimi! 🙂
Do you’s shoot deer from these areas?
great work there my friend!
yeah pay 80$ for one trip to a mountain in a cable car... affordable for rich people only. Swiss people are trying to buy cheap food for buying an over prized sofa
Make more farm videos . I love watching your videos . Great work .❤❤❤❤

How are you affording life here with wife + kid and only working 50%?!
My wife also works. Thanks for watching!
I love the dog😂
The water quality improved a lot in the last 40 years. The major input came from the "Schweizerhalle disaster" in 1986. A chemical plant by the city of Basel was on fire and firefighters had a hard time to put out the fire. The used water mixed up with chemicals and drained into the river Rhine. The contaminated water was pumped back to put out the fire again and caused uncontrolled chemical reaction at the high temperature. All animals in the river Rhine died. That was the start of a major awareness campain. The chemical plant now must have containment for the possible water used by the firefighters, chemical measurements have been established and the countries France, Germany and Switzerland now work closely together for communication, firefighting and preservation of the river Rhine. Today the river Rhine is in a better environmental shape, than 1986. So some people say, it needed "Schweizerhalle" to help the environment. Disaster as a chance.
I lived in Basel for 6 years and boy do I remember the swiss glare lol
Those bells are huge! Just for the ceremonial walking through the village I'm guessing? Do they keep smaller ones on during the summer? I bet these big bells must be generations old!
Those large bells are called „Fahr-Treichel“ and are only used when the cows are taken to their alpine pastures im early summer or on live stock exhibitions and such. The are not casted but forged by hand and therefore look heavier than they actually are (8-10 kilos).
Love it!!!!!
Cool origin story. I definitely forced the issue lol. I knew Switzerland was where I wanted to move so I went there with intention and it all worked out. Around the same time as you ultimately, a little later.
Thanks for sharing your story! Sounds like a wonderful life .
The only thing really odd in Switzerland I noticed was being in these stunning mountains but there are NO wild animals, other than farm sheep & cows, I saw nothing else. I didn't even see birds there:(
Super cool! Great story!
Always enjoy your videos. Appreciate you sharing your experiences with us.
Beautiful story !
Enjoy your content!
Great story, thanks for sharing. Just goes to show sometimes life will take you somewhere that you never would've guessed!
Agreed, it's crazy how much life changed in a year.
Enjoy Switzerland 👍👍👍@@AmericameetsSwitzerland

Now that's how you ended up here, your mom was in it for sure 😉 Cheers 👍💪✌
Thanks I never knew that
I agree with you driving in Europe in general is more complicated than in the United States. It's even easier to drive in a large city in the United States than in a very small medieval town in Europe. European towns/cities were never made for such a large population!
That’s awesome!! We’ve raised turkeys quite a few times. Just keep them away from the chickens. Chickens pass a disease on to the turkeys called coccidiosis. We kept colloidal silver in their water as a preventative against the disease. Anyhow! Good eating or even their eggs.
I want to live in Switzerland. Can I start off moving their with only a passport. I know a US passport is needed. What other documents do I need?
So I’m planning to visit Switzerland in a couple of months so what on earth should I learn😢
😂 there are six americans
What an awesome channel👍 My Uncle traveled the world extensively and Switzerland was his absolute favorite

Do you not need a membrane on that??
The excavator operator deserves a thumbs up 👍
Very good video with accurate information; Additionally, it should be noted that in some cantons, for example flying over water is prohibited. Thank you, and have fun with your hobbies! Greetings from northwestern Switzerland
On September 2, 1998 Swiss air flight 111 and MD-11 bound for Geneva Switzerland from JFK airport in the United States caught fire shortly after takeoff they attempted to make an emergency landing at Halifax airport in Nova Scotia Canada. They never made it. The MD-11 slammed into the Atlantic Ocean with the force more than 350 gees killing all 229 people on board.
typical spring weather in switzerland :)
It seemed like one of the worst storms we had all winter.
Cool video! Thanks for sharing! The closest American comparison for the booth activity is perhaps a scavenger hunt of sorts. I think it is important for kids to know where their food comes from. The work and sacrifice it takes to raise and butcher the animals. It's pretty shocking when you talk to kids and they truly believe that their meat comes from Walmart.
Can you post a video of a Swiss Church service? You can place the cell phone in a shirt pocket before you walk in and start the video. Thanks for considering this.
Don't be shy, don't be scared to speak German. You're doing good, we understand you well! Be proud of yourself and your ability to communicate with the locals!
