    It's not even new and infact has actually been discontinued due to not meeting euro 5 emissions. If Kawasaki heads had any brains they'd make it Euro 5 and add the ZX10 electronics for current traction power cornering abs slide control etc etc. I sold my zx14 because it's electronics are out dated.

      @@MotoLogues supposedly the H2SX is the successor to the ZX14, hence why they currently don't want to update the ZX14. Personally I think the H2SX is a totally different motorcycle in terms of use and styling and Kawasaki will lose a lot of sales by discontinuing the ZX14

    Regrettably, too heavy for my ability. The 450 MT is more to my ability. I'm a light traveler, with no camping nor cooking. I sleep at modest motel, and enjoy local cuisine.

    It must be possible to make a epa compliant 2 stroke, they did it with outboards up untill a few years ago using direct injection.

      You're right! With modern tech like direct injection, it seems like a two-stroke could meet EPA standards. If they can do it with outboards, why not bikes? Would be amazing to see that happen!

    Let's look at this. There currently is a great downturn in motorcycle sales with few young people interested in motorcycling. Building the RD 350 might open the door to new as well as repeat buyers The last great 2-stroke was the Kenny Roberts limited edition which showcased perimeter frame, liquid cooling, oil injection, variable exhaust tuning with a computer controlled rotating bar and catalytic converters in 1984 (here). They are looking for ways to make bikes lighter and reduce production costs with fewer parts. Yamaha could really run with this, first as the 350. Then revive the RD500 V4 which had two crankshafts that was sold in Canada. Lastly the TZ750 racing machine was essentially two RD350 engines end to end with two crankshafts driving a single gear into the transmission. making a transverse four cylinder engine. All of these bikes would be very workable and highly valued products.

Reviving iconic bikes like the RD350 could definitely spark interest in both new and returning riders, especially with the nostalgia factor and the current push for lighter, more efficient designs. Yamaha has a real opportunity here to tap into that history while adapting to modern tech. Imagine a modern RD500 or even a reimagined TZ750-those would be game-changers!

Yamaha lazily shitting all over it's amazing legacy in order to rake in as much money as possible. Do something new & genuinely innovative FFS instead of just trying to cash in on a long past heyday & historic glories. Of course the fucking simpy millennials will lap up any old lukewarm shite because they are too thick to know any better.

    If only.. I will stick with my Aprillia RS 250 RACE REP for my summer scratching on Track. There is a company in England selling a Fuel Injected Road going 2 stroke 250cc producing +70bhp. But they are very pricey and probably a long waiting list.

    Never owned LC but I had a million rd and r5 air cooled.350. every one was modded out. Too much fun for the ordinary man. Bring back the smokers
