Love the Fuzz Buster! Just let Heather take it over and make another channel. 😊

Great idea that Heather wants to do some videos on your channel. The Torino is looking good Jason. I have a few JoHan Rambler kits and like them. Hope you don't loose total interest in the build. I'm sure you can do something like a big block Ford engine. Thanks for sharing.

When I built an MPC CJ Jeep I wanted a V8 and I used an AMC 360 out of an AMT Gremlin kit. I'm not sure that is as detailed for what you need but I think you can still get a Gremlin kit here and there.

That reminds me I got to get off my backside and start building my street machine, as for the motor in the rambler listen to an old school hemi with a supercharger sticking out of the hood

A "Heather video" sounds good. She has skills which we viewers appreciate. 👍
As AMC V8s have front distributors, a Ford smallblock would be closest, if you want to maintain the right look. 😊

I understand your quandary Jason because after all it is just a Rambler. The Chrysler engines have had plenty of well deserved attention. But I like your idea of putting a FoMoCo power plant in that build. Thanks for sharing. Glad to meet you at Classic Plastic.

The Torino would typically have rust coming up thru the top of the front fenders as well. Maybe a couple of bad Bondo attempts on the rear quarters, too. Realism to my memory!

Not just any Ford engine, see if you can find and get a Shelby motor to fit in the AMC.
The stripe package on those AMC's was too awesome not to finish the model.
The Johan kit resurrection guys who bought up all the old Johan tooling have been attending shows this year. I just saw them in Akron last weekend, and they've been coming to Detroit's show (their upcoming Fall show is in November). Maybe they can dig up a chassis that has the engine cradle you're missing, that you can mold and duplicate for your kit. I think James at Scale Model Experiments channel has a business card with contact info for the Johan guys.
Alternative 2, Muscle Car Modeler channel is currently using the same Johan kit you have, but as a donor for a body and parts he bought from Missing Link Resin. You might find the chassis you need from Missing Link. Here is today's video from Muscle Car Modeler: th-cam.com/video/f4SiHVseJxI/w-d-xo.html

    That Fuzz Duster looks kool.
    Squirrels in the atic 😅😅
My cousin use to say there's a stampede in his head 😅😅😅😅😅
Tell Heather to make sure she says
"Bye Heather" at the end of her videos 😅😅😅
Aircraft is kool , I have a few kits but I've been stalling on them because I figured I'm not ready for the challenge 😮
The Torino looks good , I will use the rust method for Rust Bucket GB next year.
I have a Wildcat I haven't finished yet for my own GB so don't feel bad. You have plenty of time if you want to start another kit cause it's Your GB 😊
    Thanks for sharing

Definitely big block Chrysler. Maybe even a tube frame front clip? I understand getting stuck or losing your “mojo” on a kit. I have probably 20 kits started right now at various levels of completion. I keep telling myself, I will take a month and complete them all. Another idea for your street machine…curbside, detail the trunk and interior, nice paint job, kit complete

I remember when the Road Runner was on the shelf in the early 80s. Never bought it. A few years ago the came back out with it and Hobby Lobby had it. I had it in my hand a dozen times. It went on clearance for $8.00 and UI still didn't pull the trigger. I've regretted it ever since. No try to find it for under $50 + S&H. Nice plane kit. Patina on the Torino looks Good. I vote Ford motor. I'll be watching

The Rambler needs the 440 from the Hemi Dart kit as it has the 727 automatic transmission. It should also fit nicely in the engine bay. You could use the K-Frame from the same kit to fix your missing cross-member section.

Agree to disagree on the S/Rambler. Maybe somewhere along the line, one got Hot Rodded with a different brand motor, but I feel those AMC muscle cars were always different and special. Someone who bought one new was a kid who was "not like the others". Same for their life in the collector car market. These are the guys on multi-year quests until they find that missing NOS part still in its original carton. The only swap I could kind of live with personally is a Hellcat Motor, but then you are pulling the thread on the sweater because it means a compatible engine cradle, different front end suspension and geometry, etc., etc., etc...Or you become the 1/25 version of that 1:1 AMC collector scouring the globe for a pristine chassis plate with the cradle still intact.😊 Was that a short shot from the Factory, or did someone hack that off? Sometimes, ideas wither. I was excited about that '67 GT OH no! until I saw the mods and work guys were putting in to get them to look nice. Maybe someday I will attempt to build one using the blueprint laid down by Tim Kustom on his channel when he finishes it, but until then, it's sitting in the stash. I am having a lot more fun working on that '66 Malibu. And it's got to be fun to really keep it going. To that end, it looks like you are really having fun with the Torino, and it is looking great.
