I think the seed spread rate is not as great when you spread seeds that way. Just my thing…

A lot of people just don’t know with maintenance you can keep your boat running for a long time. That was the problem with my carpet and seats. I just did not keep up the maintenance and now I have to replace them. I glad you could get some useful information out of my videos because the boat make over is some tuff work. You are right and I have 2 or 3 jigsaw. I just was not thinking. I was mad because I had to cut. You will be happy about the Garmin. I love my Live scope and I moving up to a 10" Garmin from a 9" on this boat.

What can you do? Just have to fix it and make it do what you want it to do.

It is a lot of work for one man but it's going to save you so much money and the satisfaction you will get after you are finish is greater than the time spend doing the carpet.

Just bring your check book with you and a good pen.

@@KarateSensei71 Yes it is a stupid design. You almost have to take the tank off to done it easier. If you have smaller hands it maybe a little easier.

@@thebasshunter LOL, I am 6'-3" and 240lbs my hands are big and I get angry easy over stupid deign stuff like this. Thanks for the tip, when I do this I might as well remove tank! You made a very hard job look pretty easy.

That is funny, I have only lose one hub in 15 years. With those single axles trailer you have to watch them hubs.

@ yes back then ranger wanted 8k for a trailer. They sent me new axles and hubs without question but I had to throw in the towel on the rig as back then I couldn’t justify a new trailer..Now it would be cheap! Then I traded for skeeters and then a Phoenix with tandems. I now have a 18’ aluminum boat and it’s on a tandem axle! Bit overkill but learned my lesson.

It make the lids a little stiffer. I think it would much better if I would have used thicker fiberglass. The thicker the fiberglass the stiffer it will be. The guy at @fishbumptv just did a video about that a few days ago. But the lids are better but it has some flexing but you don’t feel like you are going to fell through them.

@@jackwhaley8508 I think I got my pad from eBay but you can go it from Amazon, or just do an internet search. And with the pad I went with 3/8 and now after fishing on the 3/8 pad this pass weekend. I would go with a thinner pad maybe the 1/4. The pad feels good if you are sitting or kneeling on the floor but standing, you will have to get use to it. Walking on pad 100% of the time while fishing. Just something to think about.

If your pockets are $ long, you might get me???? Carpet is not easy!

I don’t think that will work because the strength would on top supporting the weight if on the bottom it would be catching the weight. After doing mine I would go with thicker fiber glass mat to have more strength. My lids are much better but it still has some flexing but it’s 75% better.

@ ok thanks, I really just need my rod locker lid done. I’ll do it this summer when I replace carpet
