Awesome design and lore! I also really like the idea of a cockatrice being randomly hatched from a snake or something like that haha. I always enjoy leaning more into the "fantasy" aspect of genre's. I feel like it's interesting having some things that can't be described by logic or reason when it comes to creatures, magic, stuff like that I suppose. Great stuff!

I like the way you interpreted and incorporated the prompts! They really played into your already strong use of symbolism and culture in this setting. Also, that story about the heirloom longsword is just hilarious. I can totally imagine stories where it appears in a random horde of treasure or a foreign ruler presents the original sword as a diplomatic gift (wonder how they got it?). Super excited for the upcoming projects, my guy. You're doing great!

i love the mythology stuff you have going on, it's so cool! also, maybe it's not what you intended, but i like the idea that he knows he's poisoning his captain with the mercury! maybe it's for revenge, or maybe the doctor just doesnt care and provides the medicine because it's easier than convincing him it's actually poison.
