MK2 Mini Copper S had a 1275 cc engine the mk2 mini copper had a 1000cc engine on dvla its a 1000cc engine hope this helps

Hey all, sorry for the late upload! Been feeling a bit under the weather for the past couple days and just haven’t had the energy to upload, feeling better now ready for the busy upcoming weekends. 👍

Great video and great to see the mini looking smart after some bashing. We will be there watching track side.

Not sure it's really dirty driving. It's sometimes just a sequence of events. Outside car moves a little next 1 moves over aswell. Unfortunate outcome. It happens in other forms of motorsport aswell. You're all juniors and learning.

Racing a mini myself but mine was in pieces with the engine. Your lines wasnt too bad; you lost a lot of pace in the 3rd heat by hitting the heavy rutts. Avoiding that helps as the others suspension helps where as the minis just hit them. Best time to show your mini will be at a very wet (rain wet) track. Lower pressures and lighter. Dont even need full throttle and you go well. Hard luck in the 2nd heat. I try and at least have tubes in the tyres to prevent as many ounctures as possible

Well done! We still race minis in class 1 and juniors there’s still life them yet 😊

Put some 12 inch wheels on the front that would give you less pull off but more speed as them other cars are on 13 inch wheels

Bit of advice when you pull off don't drop the clutch as you lost alot off the line just get a bit of a bite then go for it and the back of that mini is sat a bit high and you lose speed bouncing and skipping on the bend but you will learn the more you race your dad got some work with the front wing 🤣

My dad and my step brothers used to race for Evesham in the mid 80s and its got stupidly expensive so stopped you need a proper set up like a garage business and make good money to even stand any chance in the bigger classes as people spend crazy money on the engines now and the price of living now alot of people have gave up as it just to be build some thing cheap and and enjoy it but its all changed alot that is how i became a mechanic and welder fabricatior for over 25 years because of autograss racing but i really do wish you the best of luck enjoy yourself as it is great day out 👍
