You’re good and you have good combos. Why are you wasting important breakers (ex game to vs reverse Falchion, saving yellow breaker on column 1/2, not saving red there, not clearing mid mix that fucks gem growth mid game with green/blue breakers etc)? You know her drop pattern. Because you’re good you got away with that mid game combo, but if you didn’t waste your breakers you could have had a bigger combo that didn’t involve luck to get off. Yellow breaker save column 5, green/blue breaker clear to realign green, then and easy (and defendable against attacks) min triple combo on a huge gem, with saved gems for a follow up. Sword patterns man.

Great mid game. I never used the Falchion because of this video here. You and your opponent had fairly weak openings, but it didn’t matter because the drop pattern for any “waste” breakers is so poor when using a Falchion. When it’s Falchion vs Falchion that’s okay, but with any other sword it’s a major issue. I used and abused the three S’s (Saber, Skull Dagger, Scimitar) for a long time because the Falchion was viewed as the best sword when in actuality there was only 1 or 2 players who could truly use it to its potential. Great games, but I think this video shows more a) you’re really good but b) the Falchion drop pattern did not help you much in these scenarios.
