loved the video very detailed. My problem is trying to get the rebuild kit. Do you sell them? I have a 1 and a half horse pump.

Good video. I was always taught to pull that “loose” stage off and put the shim behind that stage. This keeps the impeller in that stage from rubbing on the bowl. I always do it that way and it works. I rebuild these and other pumps every day.

Whatever you do . Don't buy these proportioners from the power wash store. I bought mine from the store in Nashville and it started giving me problems after only 4 months. Good luck with them helping you out. Once the PWS has your money they don't care about you anymore. If you are a big washing company they will kiss your ass but if you are a small business good luck. Midwest proportioners are the way to go

Why is no one putting the plumbing and power in the rear and the cleaner bin in the middle facing to the side? Just like normal trash can trucks? A camera can allow them to see the can, pull up on it, grab it, clean and go. Put some power washer nozzles inside the bin so no need to get out of the truck and wand the can. I'm stunned no one has figured that out? The key to that type of business is volume. Inefficiencies like getting out to clean the outside of the can cut into time a lot. That's costly. The model is already developed by the local town. Stay in the truck, clean and move to the next. Nice rig btw.

i got gen 3 my question can i had booster pump to my proportioner on gen3

why wouldn't you want the bypass still on there with an adjustable unloader as well with that setup, because without those the pressure switch is gonna be out of adjustment whenever the spray tip resistance changes or the hose is elevated to the roof? those cause pressure changes, right? And basically without what I just suggested, it would cause the pressure switch to cycle over and over and heat up the pump insanely. just saying...

My proportioner is leaking from inside the box. The leaking is coming from the top right and lower right of the box. The pro is only 8 months old. Has anyone else had this problem

Thank you for the in depth walk around, this is great. The trucks space is utilized very efficiently. A few Qs: 1. A 2.1GPM pump with 6GPM heads? isn't that pump not adequate for the Bolondi heads? 2. Over time opening the pass side door at each stop would get tiring. A removable door would be nice to take off during work day and re-place end of day. yet that's just my opinion! 3. What are your thoughts on a PTO system vs pressure washing system? Still learning that subject.

I bought this from power wash store. Within 2 weeks had a problem with it. Called the store and they had zero technical support for this item. Why would you sell something that you know nothing about? $400 for some b.s.

Hey Paul thanks for the posts...i have a Q about the wiring hook up for the 220v 10gpm 2 horse booster pump ...im not sure what goulds is calling hi and low voltage on the tag on the motor. I need to be sure which is 220v. Since 220 means you have line1 and line 2 ..it says line1 and line2 fir low voltage to..very confusing...

Excellent set up. The only thing missing is a flashing light on top that is activated whenever the SH is on.

Great video! You can also lock two nuts at the end of the 3/8 bolt so you can use a socket on it, making it easier to install that red plastic cap.

That's an awesome beast. But I recommend you put either 90 degree elbows or hard pipe facing downward on the high pressure relief valves b/c although not likely but if it ever blows while something or someone is near or directly in front of it will get damaged or injured. Plus just add 3way high pressure ball valves at cold water intake of pumps and burner to drain water out instead of flushing with antifreeze. I got plenty of ideas on setting up equipment to making them safer and more operator/repairman friendly.

just ordered mine from you all. Can you please tell me how to adjust mine. The pro Switch will only work when I'm using it with the garden hose direct feed. When I switch to the Pro Portioner side of the valve, the pump constantly runs, even when I let off the trigger. Thank you!
